What dermatology/cosmetic procedures are there for skin tightening? |

A face lift definitely but you really wanna do the research and if your face isn't real droopy you only want a bit of a lift.
I imagine chemical peels would give appearance of tighter skin too, but only if the face is already pretty ok. I don't think id do anything like a face lift would.
Those are my opinions. |

Everyone loses a bit of fat as they age, also the fat pads descend lower and towards the middle of the face giving a sagging appearance. These days one can put off a face lift for a long time with judicious use of fillers. Fillers also have been shown to stimulate a certain amount of collagen production and are cheaper than a facelift.
For a radical correction, there is nothing that will give the results of a surgical facelift, but fillers are a great option while you save for it.
For the record, I've had surgical intervention, but if fillers had been around I think I could have held off another 10 years. Worth a try! |

I had radio frequency treatment to get rid of the fat pads and tighten the skin. Great results for not too much money. If you can go to Beverly Hills, I'll give you the name of the plastic surgeon. Having this done saved me a bundle since I don't need filler in the nasolabial folds since I don't have nasolabial folds any more. |

I can't answer to invasive techniques but for those who are into non-invasive here is what has kept me firm and toned:
galvanic - Equipro for maximum hydration which helps lift and plump the skin.
Microcurrent - Pico toner - the best.
A pro Dermalogica Tx called Accelerator 35 tightens the skin.
Also recommend a steamer to maximize all other results. |

Well I'm still pretty young and don't need a facelift, however I have noticed some laxity lately and wanted to improve it. Laser? |

My favorite combination is resistance facial exercise, facial lymphatic massage, and dermarolling.
Daily cardio will help keep skin all over the body tight, including the face and neck, and of course clean and abundant nutrition. |

Dermalogica's EA35 is a 30% lactic acid product. More of an exfoliant, less of a skin tightener. |

DMAE - key ingredient in Perricone's new Cold Plasma product and terrific multiple benefits including cell life extension, in Chrysalyx - just love it, keeps my high 50+ eyelids from sagging:-)
using Epidermx II before it for 30-45 seconds or so really makes it tight! |

My esthetician recommended it as a way for residual tightening and increase in collagen over time. Good as an exfoliant too but I see firming - that's really why I use it. Thanks! |

We wish to know what we can get and what we can do to delay our ageing process. Thus, everytime I read something new, then I feel like I want to try. I don't hear about galvanic stuff before and it is truely something entirely new to me.
Thank you for sharing. Now, I have some new direction I can go for. |
