Bought this from EDS. Its main purpose, as described on the product leaflet, is for deep hydration. Its texture is a bit gel like and glides on smoothly on the face. Everytime I applied 2-3 pumps to my face, and I'd feel my face is plumped up immediately. The downside is that the plump up effect does not last throughout the whole day. At this steep price tag, I'd expect it can at least keep for a day. |

I want to ask whether anyone use them separately? If so, could you give me any reviews? Thanks! |

I think you need to use the Hydra 3 serum with cream then you can see the effect much better. |

I did use the serum with Valmont's cream, such as Hydra3 cream, L'elixir cream, etc. Yet, the hydrating effect did not last whole day long with either creams. |

I have tried to use the Hydra3 cream without the Hydra3 serum, it cannot last for the whole day for me. |

Compared with Valmont Prime AWF Polyfactor Repair Serum, Hydra 3 serum is more liquid like, while the former is more creamy. I once used Hydra 3 during the cold winter a long time ago, I remembered my face never felt dry that winter. |

I have to use he Hydra3 serum with a cream, it is not enough for me to use it alone. Which is too bad, considering the price! |

Hydra 3 serum is indeed pricy. It may not useful for preventing aging, but definitely effective for hydrating dry skin during cold winter. |

During extremely cold winter, hydra 3 serum alone cannot preserve moisture effectively.
I usually need to apply anothe layer of very greasy face cream after hydra 3 serum. |

I am using both Hydra 3 serum and cream. It is not enough hydration for dry skin during cold winter. |

Not sure Valmont serums and moisturizers are good combinations. Never use them together. |

I am currently using hydra 3 serum with Regenera cream I. For my combination skin in a not-so-cold winter, this combination is good enough to preserve moisture. I have never used hydra cream, because regenera cream II is already oily for me.
Though I like Valmont hydra serum, I want to point out its drawbacks to give readers a full picture of this product. First, it does not last long. Usually a 30 ml bottle can last at most one and half months for me if using both day and night. Second, it may not have a age-defying effect. However, I really could not tell which product has age-defying effect. |

It ha been extremely cold with snow storms these days. So I started to use Hydra 3 serum and factor II.
Factor II is easier to extend on face and more greasy than factor I, which feels a little dry.
During cold winter, factor II is much better preserving skin moisture than factor I.
I would recommend factor II to people with dry or normal skins. |

I have used hydra3 cream and serum during the summer which is totally different feeling. It gives my face fully water supply. My skin tone turns shiny too. |

I just received a free sample of this, can't wait to try it out, but I'm usually more oily than dry. |
