Help.

I’m 46 with thick, heavy skin and a round face. Main concerns are jowls and eye bags and, to some extent, under-eye crepeiness and neck creases. No real wrinkles.

I want advice on my proposed programme below, and replacement skincare (since I was told Environ AST5 was a bit aggressive, so I've cut it out). I suddenly feel a bit overwhelmed as my face seems to have melted over the past few weeks! Confused I know i want to base this around Ageless and Slendertone Face. I love Environ C-Boost and have kept that in.

Programme
- Ageless programme 3rd edition (started this week) (I’ve just ordered her ‘hotspots’ routine as well)
- FE Jolting and Pressure Reps (would add in once a week??)
- Tanaka massage (would do to fit in with and complement Ageless programme)
- Slendertone face (5x weekly, I’m on week 3)
- CACI ultra in-salon (fortnightly?? - I’m at L10 / maintenance)
- Newa 3deep (weekly? daily?

Skincare
- Clarisonic + environ gel cleanser (am)
- Environ C-Boost (am)
- Vitage sunscreen (am)
- Elemis balm cleanser with hot facecloth (pm)
- serum???
- moisturiser???

Really looking for an objective perspective here. For example, the Newa 3Deep says 5 x weekly for first month but I'm not sure I can do that. Also thinking of adding in the Fyola/Sqoom. Too much? Not enough?

Thanks...

hi snookydoops,

everyone has their style of doing things, of course, but to me, this is way too much introduction of new techniques and tools.

how will you know how your skin is reacted to each new technique/tool?

Face exercises usually require some individual 'tuning's really be right for each person's skin. You might find you need to do more or less of each exercise then what is suggested in the program or even stop doing some exercises for a time or stop permanently doing some exercises depending on how your muscles/skin is responding. But you won't be able to tell any of this if you are doing so many other things.

For me, i would start out with ageless for at least 2 months, then add tanaka for a month(here again you will probably have to adjust the program to your own individual needs, leaving out some 'moves' and perhaps repeating others) then add the FE reps jolts and pressure reps for several months while adjusting the ageless program and tanaka to your needs, before adding the fyola/sqoom.

I don't know anything about slender tone face, but here again, if something goes 'wrong' with your face, for example overbuilt muscles, wrinkles, etc. (all of which are actually possible and do sometimes occur) you won't know what is creating it and what to do to fix it.

i myself personally do ageless (I have done so for 5 years) tanaka (also for around 4-5 years) and selected FE exercises. i also incorporate facial exercises from other programs, lymphatic massage for eye bags and Gua Sha and cupping, but I have added each technique/tool as I have a grasp of whatever 'old' techniques tools i have incorporated in the past.

anti-aging is an art, and people do 'hurt' themselves with certain tools and programs, partially because their isn't enough understanding, studying, and awareness of the strengths and potential dangers of the techniques/tools they are using.

also, why has your face suddenly changed so much, are you under a lot of stress, have your nutritional needs changed. My experience is that lifestyle is the prime 'ager' or 'beautifier', and should be looked into first, then secondarily come the adjunct use tools, techniques and skincare products.

Definitely a period of stress, yes - and I could see if affecting my face. through the worst of that thankfully.

I'll take this on board and continue with my Slendertone Face, adding in Ageless... and report back.

Thanks
