Does anyone have any wisdom or thoughts to share on hyperpigmentation and sun spots that are popping up for no apparent reason?
I wear SPF 30 daily...I don't use anything harsh or any actives except the occasional salicylic acid.
Yet I am getting sun spots and little new dark spots all over my face..... is this a health issue?
I realize this board has gone really quiet lately but if anyone could shed any light, or have any suggestions of things that helped them please share.
Thank you!! |

I have melasma as well. At the moment only on my left cheek one tiny mark. I read http://www.britishskinfoundation.org.uk/SkinInformation/AtoZofSkindisease/Melasma.aspx
Whilst I know there doesn't seem to be a cure I have found that my application of Optima's Tea Tree cream (from Holland & Barrett) has helped fade the marks. I used to have spots on both my cheeks. Maybe it is a combination of things. Sun hat, moisturizer & foundation with SPF15, and tea tree cream. I put the tea tree cream on after cleansing & toning under my moisturizer & foundation and last thing at night. |

I have exactly the same problem and, much like you, I have no idea why this keeps happening. It is so annoying, though! |
