Hey Beautiful Ladies ... I am just now realizing the benefits of microneedling and was about to make an appointment for my first session when I was reading that you are able to do it yourself at home.

I was wondering if it is possible to get the same grade device as they use at the docs. I know 1.5mm is what they use, but is there a specific needle count and machine that is the best one?

Any help much appreciated. I'd hate to make a mistake, but I really want to use it not only on my face but on my arms and thighs which are getting all crepey and wrinkly. I'm 51 and this past year has been a beast as far as skin goes. What the heck happened!??

Very Happy

I'm trying to read through the long rolling threads to glean rolling information-so far Owndoc is a popular name.

I ended up purchasing the triple head interchangeable roller from puruskin off of Amazon because it had good reviews, came with info (ebook). titanium needles, had cleaning/storage cups with a reasonable price. I guess I have tough skin, I can barely feel the needles.

I ended up getting it done professionally to see what it's all about and ask questions. They used a Dermapen which they say is better than a roller because it doesn't tear ... the needles go up and down mechanically. The pain was totally bearable ... on the bony areas it felt more painful kind of like getting a tattoo. I then received ampules of to put on for 5 days after. So far so good, my skin feels really smooth. I am considering buying the Derminator on OwnDoc because I want to do so many areas of my body!
