Can anyone suggest me any oil free moisturizers? Or vitamin c serums? My skin thinned out and dehydrated from over exfoliation. I've tried fish oil supplements but it gave me cystic pimples. I've also used emu oil but it broke me out also. Help I'm really desperate.i also suffer from uneven skin tone

I am always on the lookout for a good oil free moisturizer. While I find my skin is starting to show its age, most of the anti-aging moisturizers are too rich for me and I will still break out (I'm in my mid-40's). I alternate between Osea Atmosphere Protection Cream and PSF Moisture Balancing Lotion and really like both of them (they're not high priced either, so it's not a risky try). I make my own vitamin c serum (recipe found on here quite a long time ago, but I'm still loving it) and I use SkinCeuticals physical fusion UV defense spf 50 sunscreen daily. Hopefully you find something that works for your skin!

Emu oil also breaks my skin out. I have such sensitive skin! It blew my mind because it is supposed to be good for those like me, but after using so many harsh treatments, my skin just doesn't like oils. Try EltaMD PM moisturizer, I can't use their AM product as it causes redness.

My current regimen.

AM
Paulas Choice Earth Sourced Cleanser
Paulas Choice Earth Sourced Toner (patted on, no cotton)
Burnout Face & Body Sunscreen

PM
Paulas Choice Earth Sourced Cleanser
Paulas Choice Earth Sourced Toner (patted on, no cotton)
Elta MD PM Therapy mixed with La Roche Posay Effaclar K

!X Weekly
.05 Dermaroller treatment

Looking back, I realized quickly that my toner does have oil in it. I should have said I can't use Emu oil specifically Smile I believe oils are good for the skin but I generally avoid them if possible.

I use Cerave and Olay Anti-Wrinkle Firm and Lift Anti-Ageing Moisturiser Night Cream as moisturisers and 20% vitamin C from Natural Earth Laboratory (it also contains Aloe, MSM, HA, vitamin E...) - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Contains-clinical-Hyaluronic-Wrinkles-Guaranteed/dp/B00P9MZITW/ref=zg_bs_2832003031_1.

Both moisturisers are quite light and as far as I know (and checked) they don't contain oils.
Vitamin C is non irritating and refreshing.

A while ago I got a biggish sample of Astara Blue Flame Oil Free Moisturiser with an EDS order and it was a really nice moisturiser to use (I have combination skin). It's a gel-cream texture and it reminded me of a gel-cream moisturiser from Sothys I used to love (which was later discontinued) that plumped up my skin beautifully. The Astara one had a similar effect and it's oil free so that might be a good one to try.
