Anyone have used the Jurlique moisturisers...can recommend what is good for combo acne prone skin which also a bit sensitive around nose area?

I would definitely suggest the Herbal Recovery Gel. It's a very light gel that would be perfect for oilier skins. I've got normal to combo skin and I have use this through summer (hot and humid!) and it's been great. Have almost finished the bottle and will definitely repurchase. Smells lovely as well which is an added bonus  |

Definitely with Mabsy here, their Herbal Recovery Gel is just great! I ended up buying that one ( and lots of lovely Jurlique, including their Rose Silk Dust which you would probably like too)after reading Mabsy's great reviews on it. Herbal Recovery Gel is completely non oily (waterbased) and smells beautiful and does a nice job results wise too.
You can use it day or night. |

| Don't mean to interrupt the search for moisturisers but can the devotees of herbal recovery gel explain what you love about the product so much? I'm intrigued as to what its benefits are and I would love to try it. *adds another item to wish list |

Natural, very light, oil free, smells great, skins right in and doesn't look shiny It also seems to make skin look healthier although this is debateable. Some people swear that it makes their skin glow and others say it does nothing. Well worth getting a sample of to try it and see which camp you're in though  |

| Sounds lovely!! I'll definately request a sample with my next order! Is it expensive retail in Aussie Mabsy or cheaper just to get on the net?? and do the jurlique counters give away samples? I've had a introduction facial done before but can't remember for the life of me what products they used. |

| mailnat - I'm not sure how free Jurlique counters are with samples. The SAs seem nice enough so you should be able to get some. I've received samples of various Jurlique things in my EDS parcels though and the herbal gel was one of them. Jurlique is expensive in Australia and has a rather strict policy of enforcing their retail prices. A few places in Australia have had their Jurlique accounts closed (I hear) because they were offering discounts on their products. |

I just got a bottle of the herbal gel from EDS - I think I'm going to use it at as an antistress type mask, it smells great, really relaxing and soothing.

Hi all, new poster here
I love the Calendula creme, nothing soothes my acne prone skin quite like it. Don't be scared of the shea butter or heavy sounding oils, the results are brilliant (and would probably solve that sensitivity issue.) As for the much touted Herbal Recovery Gel, I'm 28 and it has never worked perfectly for me. I always get giant pimples while using it. Shame too, as it smells and feels lovely, but, for $140 US, I don't want acne from it. 
Another nice product is the Sensitive Skin Toner/Gel. It's *almost* like the Herbal Recovery Gel for much cheaper. I add this to other moisturizers to thin them out abit and make them last longer. |

Hi Agave! Nice to meet you! Wow... $140 US!!!  I wouldn't buy it for that much I am afraid! In Aussie dollars that is about a 1/3 more again!
Seems like it is the one time that it is good to be Australian ( we pay much more for everything else though)... $78 Australian retail for the Herbal Recovery Gel from memory. Other things like the Calendula cream ( so nice ...as is the Viola cream... pretty similar, do you like that one too?) are way cheaper like I think I paid about $26 Au. The Foaming cleanser is about $37Au etc. The Sensitive skin Night Gel is very Herbal Recovery Gel like too. I actually live in Adelaide though, where it is made, but the prices are the same round Australia I am sure. I am even luckier that the pharmacy I get them from ( National Pharmacies) has a 20% discount off all non prescription items for members. It is so worth it when it comes to things like Jurlique as I then get another 20 percent off the above prices. |

Are we talking about the same size for US$140? The Herbal Recovery Gel also comes in a 100mL which is around Au$140 so the US$140 would be about right given import expenses etc.... |

Ahhhhhhhh! I think mine is only 30 ml then! Just checked and it was my Sensitive Night Gel that is 100ml.
I have noticed that EDS has pretty good pricing on some of the Jurlique products actually... and the 30ml size they have for $72 Australian. So yep! You are probably right about that! |

Hi,
I second the Calendula Creme, I just picked it up a few days ago and calmed my sensitive skin down, it seems greasy but it absorbs right in. I have read many reviews and it doesn't make most people break out if you are acne prone. This herbal recovery gel seems to be an item to add to my shopping list.. what type of skin type is this recommended for? |

Any skin type for the Herbal Recovery Gel.. if you have dry skin you might want a moisturiser over the top perhaps ( and think of it more like a serum) but normal, oily, combination... just on it's own it works a treat! It's a milky serum like texture, totally non greasy.
