I've been so busy lately that I haven't been around much but when a skin care question came up..there was only 1 place to go! Has anyone heard of Yves Rocher products. They call themselves the "leader in botanical products." The woman who does my hair color mentioned it and I looked at the website and their products are really inexpensive, I mean REALLY...
Anone know anything about it? TIA

They are a pretty popular mail order company in europe. My mum gets their stuff, but I'm not overly impressed with stuff of theirs that I have tried. That said, I did try some exotic botanical anti aging oil that was really lush, can't remember what it was though!
They are good on special offers with buy one get one free etc |

| My mother in law to be buys ALOT of stuff from here by mail order. I dont think she uses anything else, however I cant really comment on the product as Ive never tried anything. I get the impression that its good value for money. |

I have used Yves Rocher in the past. I don't know if any of the products I used to use are still even being made. But I loved this Chamomile Cleansing Milk that they had. And they had a great Calendula toner. It took any redness or irritatrion out of my skin. I didn't like their moisturizers though because they always had a "rancid oil" smell to them. Maybe it was just the ones I tried, or bad batches, but the oil would seperate and seemed to "turn" soon after opening it.
But like I said, this was maybe 10-15 years ago, so that may not be the case anymore. |

Years ago Yves Rocher products were sold in my local Bay store.
They would have good specials on and the prices are almost comparable to drug store.
I have tried various products but nothing really stands out except for one eye cream. I can't remember the name of it but it was a very rich moisturizing cream for dry skin.
I do get their flyers and even through the prices are tempting I would rather buy one or two quality products rather than a bag of stuff that is just "ok". |

| I too used Yves Rocher some years ago - they had some nice products but the moisturisers never suited me. However their body products were good and very competitive prices. I still use some of their body firmimg and moisturising products and they do work. |

Right now I'm using their Camomile Eye Cream, for sensitive skin, not sure what it's called exactly. It's nice, sinks in quickly and is cooling. I haven't tried much else though except their shower gels, which I love! I just started on my watermelon scented one.  |

| They are a French brand - on my recent trip to Paris I noticed that they have little boutiques literally on every corner. They also do reasonably priced facials (unfortunatelly, the products that their facialists use are not those that they sell in the shop). Overall, Yves Rocher products are OK but not really natural, they include mineral oils. But personally would avoid their make-up range, the quality is quite poor. |
