Hello everyone !
I'm after Accutane treatment. My skin doesn't break out anymore, but I still have one problem.
My acne was in closed comedones form - now my skin doesn't produce comedos anymore, but I still have some of them left, especially on my forehead, and they're placed in VERY deep layers of skin. After Accutane treatment I visited esthetician and even after many different treatments she wasn't able to extract them. I also tried various acid peelings - even TCA, about 25% - my skin peeled off nicely, texture is better, but comedones are still there. I have completely no idea how I can make them come to surface? Is laser treatment only option?

You prob need to do some skin peels for quite a long time.

I had broken out very badly at my jawline and did go to see a dermatologist, cosmetic surgeon, other Dr's.
But most of the inflamation for me is under my skin and a year and a half later I'm still trying to smooth out my skin in one large spot.

The Dr said a laser for me might cause more scarring, one other Dr said they could cut out the area that is inflamed/scarred.....but then I would be left with another scar.

I've lost count on how many peels I've done at home, but so far I did get rid of 50% of the scarring.
The area of skin I'm trying to fix was around 2"x3" and left a huge purple mark at my jawline.

Now it is 1"x2

*I haven't tried to get another consult from a cosmetic Dr, only because the ones I did see so far,I do not think their info was that good for me.
-they were insisting my skin in that one spot just has a scar, when I know for sure that my skin is broken out AND has a scar in the same area.
*I did have to take a bunch of antibiotics for stuff this year and it somewhat did help my skin a bit...)

Exuviance has a 25% peel you can do at home that is really good.

Also Neostrata Vitamin C 10 and 20% and Neostrata glycolic products are really good too.
