Hi Everyone!
I recently had a chance to try the mineral veil and *completely* fell in love with it (where has this stuff been all my life?!)..I am going to order some, but want to order the minerals foundation powder as well...Can anyone tell me how different are the shades(#1 fair) and (#1.2fairly fair)? Is (#1fair) almost the same as the mineral veil? I bought the "Multi-tasking Makeup" in "bisque"...and I am really surprised and thrilled with the results I got when I used it as an around the eye concealer..and it is a light shade!(I'm telling you this to give the Bare Escentuals users out there an idea of what my skin tone is like...)I've been told that most people use the shade "summer bisque" in the Multi-tasking Make-up - so I'm definitely in the "fair" minority....I just can't decide whether or not to buy the #1 shade of foundation to go with it or the #1.2 shade...Can anyone describe how close in shade the mineral veil is to the #1 and #1.2 foundations?
Thanks Everyone!

i have a very fair complexion and even the #1 shade is too dark for me. the bisque made me look peach as well:/ but depending on if you have warm or neutral undertones in your skin..that can definately determine which is best. 1.2 is a warmer tone i believe.

Pudoodles, I would say go for the #1.2 unless you are very fair. I would describe myself pale and pasty (actually, since the Dr H I think I can cross out the pasty remark) but even the #1.2 is too light for me and makes me look quite ill/dead Laughing . I mix it with the light (#2) shade to get a nice healthy colour on me.

I always go for the lightest foundation in the range and I have both #1 and #1.2 (and sometimes mix two of them together). I started with #1 but I prefer to look like I have blood circulation to my face so I generally go with a mix or #1.2 in summer.

Hi Pudoodles!

I have BE 1 Fair, 1.2 Fairly Light and 2 Light. I am very pale in complexion, burn easily in sun (light blonde, pale blue eyes) and always go for the lightest shades offered in foundations, porcelain, etc. Surprisingly, I found the 1 Fair to be too white on me. 1.2 Fairly Light was the color I used, like Mabsy said it gives me a healthy look. 2 Light was too dark on me. Hope this helps!

Thanks *so* much, everyone - you guys are the best! I'm going to order the mineral veil and both #1 and #2 -- we are heading into Spring here and while I'm really quite fair, I think I'll probably end up doing a bit of mixing in the summer - so that I, too, don't look quite so incredibly white!!
Thanks again - I really appreciate it!
