Does anyone know of a gentle treatment for the clogged pores around my nose? A little retinol? Vitamin C? Help.

Rather than retinol or Vit C - what about something like Oil Cleansing Method. That's great for unclogging pores.

TheresaMary thank you for the reply, however the OCM does not suit the skin around my nose. A few months back I tried this method for several weeks and while I experienced some improvement, it was nothing like what I experienced using a normal cleanser. At this point, I am simply looking for a gentle exfoliant do lightly apply to the area around my nose.

Thanks!

Try Gernetic Octo. Press a small amount onto affected area.

This will not get rid of them but will make them densed up. After 2-4 weeks, steam your face and extract them.

Continue using it on "cleaned" pores to prevent them from coming back. It will also reduce oiliness.

But do not use it on active inflamed skin or acne.

I know you will hear a lot of people telling you to use BHA Retinol etc. They are highly irritating and will only make it worse.

Whenever you treat the skin harshly, the skin react back with inflammation and production of oil to counteract. It is a vicious cycle.

Gently does it.
