I do my own waxing nowadays but I remember when I used to get it done at the beauty salon the lady always put some sort of a nice smelling oil or balm on my eye brows (and underarms) after waxing.
I'm wondering if anybody knows what type of product that was? Would using the Decleor Essential Balm be ok on freshly waxed skin? It seems to be the same texture and similar smell to what the lady used. It's also supposed to be purifying so I wonder if it would help reduce ingrowns.
Are there other products you can use for that purpose? What about the Decleor balms for the body? Or any other brand for that matter. |

At our Spa we are using Tea Tree cooling lotion after waxing and electrolysis. (it is from Australia Mabsy ). We also use Sothys Post depilatory treatment which we sell on our website as retail product. To prevent from ingrowns and reduce irritation and redness I would also suggest to try Tend Skin.
Immediately after waxing you really want to apply something cooling and soothing. Decleor Essential Balm would be OK after waxing but it will give you relief with some delay in contrast to other especially designed products that will cool your skin down instantly.

LOL, trust me to look for a product 1000s of kilometers away and find out that it's right under my nose! Thanks, I'll look for a Tee Tree oil lotion. And yeah, I have my eye on the Tend Skin deodorant and will get it with my next order |

my mom is an esthetician, she uses specific oils for post waxing, most have usual combo of grapeseed/almond/jojoba plus the nice smelling stuff. any oil would do, prefer jojoba or macadamia as more similar to skin. |

Rosehip oil as it will naturally exfoliate the skin, meaning you will be able to get a closer shave the next time. You also might like to apply a balm with menthol in it as it really soothes any irritation. |
