Hi!

After deciding to seriously grow my bangs out for the first time in my life at 59, I realized that I want a smooth forehead, the natural way.

I'm using my standard routine in a forehead focused way. I am a huge fan of facial exercises and have never wanted to use Botox which paralyzes muscles. Paralyzed muscles atrophy (shrink). I want to keep my facial muscles strong and full. I decided to develop a natural protocol to achieve a smooth forehead.

I wrote the following article summarizing my process and results to date:

http://www.skinremodelingdiy.com/blog/http/wwwskinremodelingdiycom/2016/10/17/natural-methods-to-smooth-forehead-muscles-for-results

What do you think?

Take good care of yourself! HGG

Hey hydrogeogirl

Even I believe in natural ways. So thank you for sharing this article here.

After 30-40 age every woman faces this problem in life. So I think to make your skin fresh through natural exercises is great than any supplements and surgeries.

I appreciate an article written with suggestions other than the quick response "get botox".

I really prefer Furlesse patches over Frownies. Sold on their site but I prefer to add to an EDS order.

http://www.essentialdayspa.com/furlesse_line_reducing_patches.htm

These patches are transparent but effective. After a while, it becomes a habit NOT to wrinkle a brow.

Thank you, hydrogeogirl! I find your blog very informative. Do you have a search feature on it?

I am finding that my forehead looks its worst in the morning— I am certain nighttime is when I am furrowing my brow. Absolutely need the patches!

Thank you, Autumn1995, for recommending Furlesse patches. Haven’t seen those before.

Hi Anele,

Thank you for your message, I am glad that you enjoy my articles. I just posted a new one on hormones Smile

I will have to look into whether the website has a search feature.

Frownies changed recently. The patches are a little different, new box, new look, new price. Seem to work as well although they are thinner than the former patches, which I just transitioned from.

Yes, Frownies are a must at night. The forehead muscles slowly do change and I do practice mindfulness to stop contracting my forehead muscle.

Take good care of yourself Smile

Hi there,

Looks like I've missed a few responses to this post!

ericnikki1 - Thank you! I am totally into aging gracefully and know that I will evolve over time. I prefer to keep it natural and I believe that continued use of natural methods and combining those methods is very powerful. Know that it is a hobby and requires a time commitment.

Autumn1995 - Thank you! I recently learned that young women (in their 30's) are considering botox and I can only think what a bummer of a lifetime commitment that is! I completely agree, once you retrain the muscles (and the brain, after all it is plastic) you can change your habitual facial expressions. Also, I will try the Furlesse patches. However, I am currently brainstorming DIY options for wrinkle patches.

arielstar08 - Thank you! I appreciate your feedback!

Take good care of yourselves! xo HGG
