Any suggestions for a BB or tinted moisturizer with spf? I prefer physical filters over chemical.

I did like Clinique Almost Makeup spf 15 (discontinued)

Paula's Choice tinted moisturizer with spf (disc)

I had a sample of Dermalogica spf 30 tint. I had reaction to something in it (maybe botanicals?)It did look really nice on my skin.

I am quite fair. The above were the light shade options. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I like Revision Intellshade...It's natural looking and, depending on your preference for coverage (I find heavy coverage is aging for me) it does the job with just a little concealer and blush.

It is one shade but seems to blend with most everyone and does cover minor imperfections..

SPF 45 and good ingredients...comes in matte and original. Sometimes I mix them in winter and use matte for summer (original is more moisturizing)

I tend to buy most beauty products and electronics online (clothes I prefer in person)...Ebay and Amazon have worked for me so far for this product with no issues.

I like Shiseido Urban Environment Tinted UV SPF 43. It comes in 3 shades. Amazon carries it, hopefully in Canada too. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is fragranced.

I’ve heard good things about NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 and want to try this one at some point.

ETA: just noticed you were looking for physical. Neither of these are. I’ve given up on physical tinted sunscreen for now, they all dry my skin out too much.

The Shiseido product has good reviews overall and was suggested on another skin care forum. One reason I hesitate to try is the chemical SS filters. I am ok with some chemical filters and some have caused problems in the past.

I will have to look at the ingredients for NARS. Both brands are available easily in Canada.

Looks like EDS carries it too:

I've been curious about it myself. I've liked Amarte's Natural Finish BB Cream Light Tint in the past also:

Thanks for the suggestion. Appreciate EDS having the full ingredient listing.

I also really like the Revision Intellishade. I found it to be more natural looking than the NARS tinted moisturizer. My skin tone is light/medium.

On the Revision Intellishade, can anyone comment on whether it is fragranced? And whether you use original or matte? Thanks!

For those who have used the Intellishade, do you think the one shade would be light enough for a fair-light complexion? TIA!

ShastaGirl- I only notice a slight fragrance. I had samples of both and while both worked for me I preferred the original for a more dewy effect.

havana8-I'm not sure if it would be light enough. If it was sheered out with a sponge maybe but then you wouldn't have the same SPF protection. I think it would work on fair skin with yellow undertones. Probably better to stick with something that has more color choice though.

Personally I think Revision Intellshade acclimates pretty well to most skin tones. In reviews it seems to run the gamut successfully. I would've once been medium but sunscreen and exfoliation would probably make me light medium now.

I have not noticed any fragrance and I don't see any added fragrance.

Matte is not as moisturizing and tends to dry quicker and original is more dewy. I once had very oily skin but now runs to combo so I started out with Matte.
I then got some original samples and blended them for the winter and it worked out well. I'll probably go back to simply Matte in the summer as I live in the south US and the humidity has a tendency to make my skin want to glisten on its own..

ShastaGirl, I am interested to know where you got the samples. I would certainly try this as since dr. Dennis Gross discontinued my all time favorite tinted CC cream with spf18 and changed it to 50 spf it is gunky and awful. I have tried all the department store favorites (Laura Mercier, Tilbury, etc) and none are as nice as what I was used to.They just sit on my skin and any passing gnat would stick to my face. Still looking, poor Nordstrom's is taking it all back.Does this one sink into your skin?

It’s brierose and tigerlily who had the samples of Revision. I’m interested in knowing where they got them as well.

Will have to ask for some, but right now don't have any orders pending.
Still curious if this one soaks into your skin? Anyone?

I found it melded with my skin quite well and that's why I liked it. I think the original one did more so. The matte version I used a thin layer of moisturizer underneath and it was fine.
