Hello Everyone?
I'm just wondering if anyone can give comments on anything they've used from the Jan Marini line of skin care products. I'm especially interested in the "C-Esta for lips." I just turned 50 and am starting to develop a couple of those annoying vertical lines. Thank's for any help. |

Sorry if I steer you into another direction, but I can't help wanting to share with you one of my Mom's secrets ( she'll disown me for this!!!). Since last Xmas, Mom has been using Klein-Becker's Sovage Lip Plumper and she had to order it from the States. At 45, her beautiful full lips start to thin out and the skin around them shows some fine vertical lines. She's very happy with this lip saver. And she's happier to know that EDS just has started to carry many Klein-Becker popular products. |

Hi leeleedeedee,
I have been using C-Esta fpr about 5 months now and would rate an 8 out of 10 for controling dryness. My lips have not dried out since using it.Furthermore, I haven't really developed fine wrinkles around my mouth-yet, who knows maybe that is the reason why? I am 45 and Irish.I wouldn't resist it but I am going to inquire about another product because I really need extra support during the winter months (we live in New England)and my use has been during the late spring and summer. Hope this helps......

Thanks Leiladao and Barbara for your help and your information has indeed been useful. I was wonder about the Klein-Becker lip plumper so I'm very glad for that input as well. So many choices. That's why I'm so grateful for this forum and all the wonderful information one gets when they ask for it. Thank you! |

I've used quite a few Jan Marini products. I don't have any wrinkles yet, but do suffer from adult acne and oily skin, with uneven surface.
1) Bioclear lotion and cream
- love the cream, didn't like the lotion too much- helps keep my skin hydrated and clear
2)bioglycolic face wash
Didn't really like it in the beginning (felt too heavy and greasy on my face) but now am using it as sort of a mini mask a couple of times a week- it smooths skin
3) Acne gel I and II
Love both- great spot or preventative treatments
4) Transformation cream
It moisturized well, is very light and a little goes a long way, I felt my skin was a alot smoother, I think it would work really well for those with dryer skin types. This reminds me that I should go back to this cream! I had stopped to try philosphy's hope in a jar, but I think this transformation cream has much faster results.
5) Factor A Plus Serum
I really loved this serum in the beginning. It smoothed my skin and seemed to plump it up. I think I may have over used it because after a while I noticed small bumps forming under my skin. I was using it 2 x day in the end- I think it was overkill. I've stopped using it since it contains Retinols and I am trying to get pregnant.
6)Bioglycolic Eye cream
I didnt see any changes at all using this product.
7) Jan Marini Bioglycolic Lightening Gel
I was very inconsistent in the use of this product, but others have really liked it.
Hope that helps!

I did and couldn't use it. I ended up with red, swollen eyes and the products were not eye products. |

Right now, I am using the C-esta cream in the morning and the Factor A plus cream at night. This is my break from Obagi Nuderm. I will go back to Obagi after I finish my Jan Marini. I would say JM promotes hydration. I don't see anything magical although people at work says my skin looks good.
I guess to achieve "magical" I may just have to do some real lift. |
