Or do we have to live with them?
I have some on either side of my nose. |

I have been wondering the same thing. Also, I've noticed that they have gotten worse as I've gotten older. Does anyone know if exfoliation is bad for these veins? |

Janson Beckett's Couperose Cream does work. It reduces the appearance of spider veins and broken capillaries on the face. Several years ago I had IPL for broken capillaries. IPL works GREAT. The Couperose Cream (salon products) works well. You need to use it on a fresh, clean and warm/slightly moistened face. I note when you first start using the broken capillaries in some may look darker. If they are red they can look purple before they fade (good sign). The turning in color is normal in the healing process. If you use the cream you need to use it on the capillaries DAILY 2 times a day. The idea is to be faithful. Once faded to your liking start using once a day.

Spider veins are those tiny veins some of us get. They are as thin as a hair, usually red, sometimes blue-ish. They tend to form around the nose and sometimes on the shin or cheeks. You can get them on your legs and feet too. Ugh! |

Please be sure that you exfoliate GENTLY. I use the Janson Beckett Exfoliant and/or Dr. H. cleansing cream. I can not use a harsh exfoliant on my face. My spider veins are hardly noticable anymore but if I use a microderm. product bingo they come to the surface. So, yes, exfoliation in the wrong way can make the situation worse. |

Thanks Winnie, I figured as much. I have been a bit too harsh lately and it's showing! I think I'm going to stay away from scrubs for awhile and just use a tried and true washcloth! |
