Hi!

I ordered samples of the JI Pressed Base and the Loose Powder, both in Bisque. I love them and what they do for my face, but right under my eye I have some kind of creases that aren't really wrinkles or anything to do with age, but rather just lines that have always been there. When I put the base under my eyes it makes those lines more noticable. Am I doing something wrong?? Should I only put the Circle Delete stuff under my eyes, or will that do the same thing??

I don't have a brush yet (I will be buying that when I buy the full base compacts from EDS) so I've been using a little mini brush that came with some free Estee Lauder make-up my mother gave me.

Hi alma,

I am new to JI makeup as well and had pretty much the same problem. In my case it was because I didnt have the proper brush and my guess is that is your problem as well. Hope that helps.

Hi alma - I agree with Sherri - you need a good brush (generally) for the minerals....*but* still, you might be better served using the JI circle delete around the eye area - I haven't used it(yet!)but have heard good things about it. Also, I'm new to minerals and know from experience how easy it is to over-apply - so be careful!

I have found that the two important factors for me that make my mineral makeup look natural are (a) my Jane Iredale Handi Brush, and, (b) spritzing my face to set the minerals after I'm done applying them.

I just received two samples of the JI too, but what brush should I use just to try them? I didnt think of that when I placed order and didnt really want to spend too much in case I dont like the product.
