Hi there! I ordered some Fallene Total Block Clear SPF 65, which contains both FDA-approved physical sunblocks titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.

While the ingredients are pretty good and it is not sticky, it leaves a white cast that does not fade with time. I put on some rose lip gloss and ended up looking like a Kabuki princess. I was forced to wear foundation to hide the finish, which I hate wearing. If you have tried this, I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Also, has anyone with fair skin tried Fallene Total Block Tinted Cover-Up SPF 60? If so, is it a light tint, or does it make your face/neck/chest look an entirely different color than your hands and arms? Clinique's Super City Block SPF 25, which contains titanium dioxide, provides the perfect color. But as much as I love it, it has weak protective ingredients and a weak SPF. I'm looking for a better, more effective alternative.

Have you tried Avene SPF 50? It is a physical block with a svery subtle skintone tint. It does not change your face colour in any way, and it is not oily.

I use Fallene Total Block 65. I have had the same problem with a whitish cast. A while ago, on the forum someone mentioned rubbing it in their hands first, and then applying. I have started doing this, and it is easier to blend...but I find that it stinks. I don't have any other suggestions though...

it is pretinted, and i have had no problems w. it, colour-wise and i found it was pretty good at covering up + eveningout my face. i just found it to be a wee bit sticky and i have to be careful not to put too much on otherwise it looks like i have pancaked myself.

Hi SugarFreeSheila,

The Avene's main sunscreen agent is micronised titanium dioxide; it is why it wouldn't give you a white cast. It also contains 34% Avene thermal spring water.

At the moment, I can't find the full list of ingredients. Will PM you if I do find it. Smile
