Hello, I am 52 and have noticed how I am sinking under the eyes, along with dark circles.
I wondered what eye concealer anyone could recommend and what to do regarding the sinking.
I must say a few weeks ago I used Joey product Line Up which did the trick but then I worried about the ingredients, so stopped using it.
Now I have been reading on the forum about the dangers of argireline...so what can anyone suggest?
Thanks!!! |

In terms of the dark circles I can tell you that Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue has worked very well for me in the past. Having said this, this cream is not moisturising enough (at least not the formulation I had - apparently the formulation has now changed) and will not do much about sagging (I don't think) but it's meant to specifically target dark circles.
In terms of under-eye concealer, I *really* like the Jane Iredale Circle Delete one. It's really creamy and easy to blend and comes with two shades so that you can effectively block out various things. I use one shade to conceal visible veins and the other to deal with dark circles if I had a late night.
In terms of argireline, I have read the warnings on the forum but so far I have to say that I am not convinced. Mainly because I look at my mum (who's been Alphaderma - 10% argireline - for about eight months now) and all I see are great results. I'd have to physically try to tear this stuff out of her hands if I told her she should stop using it |

I agree, I just got PTR K eye rescue a few weeks ago and see a slight difference already!! I too am looking for a concealer, have heard Cle de Peau Beaute works great but would like to hear more consumer feedback!! there's another thread on concealer so be sure to check in there to see what people post!! (also check the thread on Hylexin, a member posted a neat spa remedy using gelatin!! I'm going to try it!!) |
