By using a "cocktail" of varied products from different skincare ranges, do you think it is possible to overfeed your skin? |

Well I guess it all depends on what you mix with what and how many things you use. But I always thought that you'd have more chance of irritation than overfeeding, not quite sure why I have that impression.
I think you can safely combine products from different companies and ranges but there is such a thing as overdoing it. If you go for a glycolic cleanser, then use an exfoliant and then put on some 10% Glycolic moisturiser then you have a much better chance of making your skin rather upset at you than say if you used a glycolic cleanser, a soothing toner and nourishing moisturiser (even if they are from different ranges or brands). Though looking at what I just wrote I have to say that it would also depend on your skin type.
Bottom line is that you should always ask for advice about the products you buy and let your beautician know what other products you are using at the same time.
Personally, I have never been in a situation where all my skincare comes from the same company let alone the same range |

Thanks for your thoughts Mabsy,
Like you, I have a wide and varied range of products from many different companies and it's nice to know that you mix and match as well. |
