Hi all, now summer is coming I want to swap my foundation and powder for a tinted moisturiser but am a little worried about what one to go for.
I have combination skin with dry cheeks but an oily t-zone prone to constant, breakouts - especially on my chin.
I would really love to hear your recommendations .....thank you |

Hi Rachel06!
Believe it or not, Clinique's City Block Sheer Shimmer Oil-Free Daily Face Protector (SPF 15) is my favourite. It comes in two really gorgeous sheer shades. It doesn't irritate my skin - and my sister, who is acne prone and sensitive, swears by it.
Good luck!

Thank you Pudoodles, i do often have sensitive skin so this certainly sounds like its worth trying
Do I still use my normal day moisturiser underneath it ?
Many thanks

I really like the Dermalogica Sheer Tint Moisture with SPF15 (I used this in "light"). However, if you already have a fave moisturiser that you want to keep using then you can (a) get some Dr Hauschka Bronzing Concentrate so you can add tint to your existing moisturiser, or, (b) buy some loose mineral powder foundation and mix in a bit of the powder into your moisturiser to give it a tint. Thanks Mabsy
Yes, I would like to keep using my normal moisturiser, so they are both really good ideas for me...I love Dr H so that is certainly worth a try
Thank you |

What a great idea, Mabsy! I'm new to minerals and never thought of mixing a bit of it in with my moisturizer! I'm going to try that, for sure!

I am using my Dr H Bronze Concentrate and whilst it does not give any coverage, It does even out my skin tone.
I am contemplating having a go mixing some Jane Iredale loose minerals when I ever get round to buying some, still unsure as I was not impressed with the Bare Escentuals. |

My holy grail tinted moisturiser is Vichy (the dry skin version). I've tried loads of high end tinted moisturisers and nothing beats this one. |

Have you considered sticking with your moisturizer and incorporating a tinted SPF? I really like Remede's oil-free SPF 30. Prescrpitives Oil-free tinted SPF 30 is really good, too. On very hot days, I prefer remede, as it's a bit more mattifying. |
