I tried one of their masks and I wasn't particularly impressed. I think if you are interested in a vit c mask, you should consider cellex-c's vit c mask. |

If it has water in the formulation, it will oxidize quickly and become fairly useless. L-ascorbic acid is sensitive to oxygen and will oxidize when in contact with it. Better to look at products that either encapsulate the C so it cannot come in contact with the water in the formula or simply choose a formula with no water in it at all.
Look for at least 5-15% concentration of l-ascorbic acid(the most effective form of C), packaged in an amber or dark glass bottle to prevent light from deteriorating the solution, and a ph of 3-3.5 for efficacy. Airless pump is nice to have. No water in the solution also highly recommended.
The forum here likes skinceuticals, vivier, and cellularskinrx brands of C . |
