This is probably a really silly question, but after using Lancome for years, I have trouble finding their expiry dates on anything. The reason I'm worried now is that I ordered something online and just realised the store has a reputation for selling expired stuff. I tried e-mailing Lancome and searching on Google, but no results.
Can anyone help? The product I'm worried about is a face wash and all I have is a batch number. |

Thanks for the reply
The batch number is CA111. Would that mean it was produced in 2005, April 21st? That would be kind of iffy since I placed my order on the 22nd.
One of my creams has the batch number CA286 and I know the expiry year is 2007. |

My rule of thumb is that products expire after 2 years and for those that are all natural, its 1-1/2 year. |

European law states that cosmetics should have a shelf life of 30 months, so Lancome should follow this too. But the annoying thing is that most bands don't even list a production date... all they list is a batch number. |
