We opened our spa with Pevonia and Medicalia. And quite honestly, I don't care for it. It has been said many times that Pevonia is a "fluff" line, and I tend to agree.

You have to understand, the European approach to skincare is about building the skin up with botanicals, over time. There are no active ingredients and it really does nothing for problematic skin.

It isn't a bad line, in the sense that it will cause problems, but it isn't a corrective/prevention line either.

And I really disliked the aroma of the line as well. I know that is trivial, but it still matter's to me. When we carried it, it just didn't have a very good impact. It wasn't a line that people really cared about. It just doesn't have a "WOW" factor.

Angi,

I really like the decleor and skinceuticals lines. The decleor is an amoratic and botanical line, and great for sensitive skin. The skinceuticals is a bit more harsh but aside from some occassional peeling (from aha in some of the products) I haven't had any other issues.

my advice on the decleor though is don't buy the hydra floral stuff unless you really like strong floral scents....it was too much for my lil nose

Dermalogica also have some great products for sensitive skin that won't irritate or cause you to break out - I love their ultracalming cleanser (its like a gel-cream combo) and daily microfoliant. A lot of people have recommended Orlane's VIT-A-MIN sensitive products too, I haven't used them myself though. Good luck, there's so much out there to choose from!!! I love this website but it's so confusing!! Very Happy

Interesting. I have actually read some very good reviews of Pevonia products specific for people with rosacea and one of my friend's swears by them. I have one of their exfoliating masks and it's ok (nothing too thrilling but not bad either - it does what it's supposed to do in other words) but I was under the impression that the "power" of Pevonia is in those specialised products. I also do recall really liking one of their exfoliating cleansers (that reminds me that it's still on my list of things to get in full size Smile) but I would not recommend that cleanser for sensitive skin though.

I do agree with Lianne though - Decleor have some very good products for sensitive skin.
