For those who missed Janson-Beckett's post on their FREE offering of C&C Serum note JB still has 60 bottles left out of the 200 offered. If you would like to try the C&C all you have to do is pay for shipping. To get this FREE offer contact lou@janson-beckett.com. Your credit card will be charged for shipping only. You will receive a full size bottle of this product. http://www.janson-beckett.com/store_fld/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=150
For those of you who have already ordered it the C&C went out yesterday.
Janson-Beckett is making this offer to EDS members only.

Yes Lolli. I believe the fastest shipping is $8.95 for US and $12.95 outside the US. Of course if someone wanted it shipped for a cheaper rate it would take much longer to get to you. You can also call Janson Beckett's toll free number if you don't want to give your credit card information in an email(ask for Lou).

hey winnie, and guys,
i find the shipping rate to be bit expensive. I know that product is free and you only pay shipping but if you consider the small size of the product and its light weight, then, shipping shouldn't be that much.
I thought that companies who ship all the time, get a better shipping rate than customers who ship rarely like once a month.
And as far as I know, but i could be wrong, is that the shipping method used is the normal ground one.
But anyways, this is just my opinion, and it goes to other online companies as well, and not only JB.

Hmm...I dunno, Lou says shipping will be $5-$7, pretty reasonable if you ask me. It would most likely be in a box with padding, etc. Even if it's more than actual shipping, the company should get some to cover handling, imo. Like Lily and others, surely, I think it's a wonderful offer, thank you, Winnie, Lou for the great service and Janson Beckett for offering this!!! |

I'm really pleased about this offer too - if only other companies had such confidence in their products that they wanted to give us freebies and get us hooked.
Besides, if they made it totally free without any financial commitment from the customer a million freebie sites would swoop in on it and nothing would be left for us. |

hey guys, i totally agree with all of you that offer is great and that it is really nice from JB to give us this offer. In fact, I am going to e-mail them and take part of this offer as well.
I also agree that if offer is completely free for customers, then, many people would want to get it just because it is free and that is it.
But I simply find shipping rate of $ 12.95 us to Canada for a half ounce small bottle, by normal ground shipping method to be a bit too much. This is what i think they charge for shipping to Canada, but sorry if i am wrong.
$ 12.95 US just happens to be more than what i make in an hor at work, so it is not a small thing for me. And when i usually ship something this small to the US using lowest level of shipping service, it costs much less.
Anyways, this is just my opinion, and i don't mean to upset anyone here.

Hi Elmo,
If you really want to try the C&C it is a steal at $12.95 ($8.95 US) shipping. You are getting the full size bottle which retails for 49.95. I should be receiving mine tomorrow. At this point I don't know if they have any more to offer. JB was only sending out 200 and was pretty close to that last time I talked with them last week.
For those who sent for it you can read the application instructions on JB Website. However, please note that you don't rub it in until absorbed. Lightly apply the C&C and let it absorb on it's own.

Winnie,
Is there any other method of getting my credit card details to Lou? I'm not comfortable putting them in an email but calling from the UK is a bit of a pain (time zones etc) and not sure it's toll free from here either?
Thanks!:O) |

Lucia, I wasn't comfortable emailing my cc info either so I split the info up in 4 emails, two seconds after the last email was sent, Lou emailed to say all the info was there. I don't know if it's more secure or not but I sure felt better doing it that way. Annette |

I was one of the first 30 to reply to the very first (original) post.....yet I have not received mine, eventhough I gave Lou my CC info and he confirmed that mine would be shipped. My CC has not been charged and I have gotten nothing in the mail, so looks like I missed out too....eventhough I didn't.

I received mine last night UPS. Most likely you will get it today or tomorrow. They have been shipped. If you don't receive it within the next couple of days (highly unlikely) do let them know.

I like it also. Now that is hard to believe isn't it? Lovely texture. A few drops go a LONG way. The next couple of weeks I will get a good idea how the C&C likes my skin. Many thanks.... as always. |
