I just read chunlisa's review on yonka and have a few questions for her or anyone familiar with the Yonka line.
I'm not really a gel cleanser person, although the idea of yonka's being light and non-sticky is certainly appealing. Therefore, I am wondering if anyone has tried the Yonka cleansing milk, cream cleanser, yonka gomage 303, or 103 mask? your reviews would be much appreciated.

Hi ThoughtCrime,
You know what? I also didn't like gel cleansers to begin with -- but since I have oily skin, people keep recommending it! I like Yonka's sensitive creme cleanser because it really WAKES you up in the morning (it's a bit minty so it's very refreshing). I just got an order in of the regular cleansing milk, so I'll let you know soon enough about what I think of it. If you want, ask EDS to send you a sample of the Yonka Gel. Man, I'LL send you a sample of it because I'm so dedicated to it. It's really really NOT a gel cleanser. It feels so different from a gel, really. However, if you like smooth creme cleansers, I'm sure you'll like the Yonka creme cleansers, too. I'll try to do a comparison once I start using the creme cleanser -- sorry I can't give more info.
The Yonka Gommage line is basically a light, transparent mask exfoliator. It doesn't have the beads that you're normally used to for exfoliators, but people really recommend it. Once it dries, you just rub off the mask with your fingers and it's supposed to do wonders. I, personally, still prefer to have beads so I don't really take to the gommage very much. However, it's supposedly a good product (beads just make me feel like the product is "working").
I haven't tried the Yonka masks yet so I would be very curious as to what others say. My esthetician uses the Yonka masks on me and they smell and feel pretty good.

thanks Lisa for posting those Yonka reviews. Another line for me to try... I definitely want to try the Yonka gommage 303. I prefer exfoliators w/out grains so it sounds perfect. And I'll have to get a sample of that gel cleanser you raved about and I'll write a review when I try it. |
