I purchased some Jurlique Rose Silk Dust on Ebay from a seller with 100%...Anyway, that was over a week ago, but the seller will not respond to my request(s) for a total...I don't know what to do really. I would like to cancel that order, and get it somewhere else, but I don't know how to go about doing that as the seller will not respond to my emails...I have sent 3 now, btw. Any suggestions? TIA |

have you sent them via the ebay email service? Make sure that they are all copied to your email address. You can also get their contact info for a phone call. I did that once. Turned out that the woman was mid change between ISPs. If she has 100% she should be good for it.

Well it's good that you haven't already paid. Now you say request a total - does that mean because it is overseas that you need a shipping amount? Because, many insist international customers contact shipping costs before bidding. Also, when I've reviewed feedbacks I've noticed it's been an issue of not rcvg totals - when the seller will argue it's already stated in the bid.
I had that problem once and I put in my last email heading NEGATIVE FEEDBACK and got a response from them. I also made them expedite the shipping in lieu of not responding timely.
Ebay has a live chat button on the top right hand corner of the home page. If they have a 100% feedback, then I'd give them the benefit of the doubt that something went wrong whether it's a family emergency, computer virus, etc. Once you put negative feedback, then it used to be that it couldn't be removed - so you may want to think about it before you post it. In turn they may put one for you-so use that feature cautiously. The live chat should be able to tell you what a reasonable time for correspondence is, and how to go about cancelling.
Good Luck! |

Hi Faith,
I purchase items regularly on eBay as well as being a seller myself. I'm fairly familiar with quite a few of the people that sell Jurlique items on a regular basis. If you'd like, PM me with this person's eBay ID and I'll let you know if I have any information as to their reputation or perhaps even an direct email address. The only reason I don't want to talk about it on here, is because I'd hate to talk negatively (if that was the case) about someone for everyone to see...especially if there was some explainable oversight on this person's behalf. Anyhoo, I have some helpful info for eBay buying/selling...if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help you!

Guapagirl,
Yes, I have been using ebay's mail service. I did copy the emails to my own home email account, but stupidly, I erased 1...I have no idea why. I guess I just thought everything would be fine. I am hoping that I can resolve everything with this seller thanks again!
Fairlyfair,
No, still haven't paid. There were no directions about shipping anywhere on the item page. I thought about the negative feedback thing too, and I really don't want to go that route. The live chat option seems like it might be useful!! thanks for the advice
Pinup Girl,
PMing you... |

I used to love eBay and purchased and sold items on there on the time. Unfortunately it seems that eBay is getting sketchier and sketchier these days and its pretty sad. I can definitely understand what you are going through.
I was looking through the comments and I didn't know if anyone mentioned the dispute center on Ebay. It allows you to start your claim with ebay a week after the bidding has ended....
It will send emails to the person and if there is no feedback I believe the transaction is void.
hope that helps |

misskoslow,
is that the same as dispute resolution? because I looked into that yesterday and saw it's $20 fee to be paid by the one filing dispute - and that would not be worth it.
Please let me know, because now I am curious if a future incident may arise. |

Yes, I just looked into it. You can file with them for free, but then if you want to settle the problem with mediation, you have to pay $29.95. If you don't pay, they will just send them an email, and then wait for 7 days. If they don't respond, I don't what will happen.
On another note, if you have ever have a negative feedback problem, this is what you can do to mutually retract the feedback. |

Thanks for asking!! Yes, I think so. Pinup Girl gave me some email addresses, and they did email me back, when I used the new addresses. They said that they never received the other emails. I know they are lying as they replied to the invoice request. They must have received it if they could apply to it...but whatever. The powder should arrive any day now...hopefully |
