I googled for hylexin when I found this forum. After reading reviews about it, I became wary.

Anyway, I want to know if anyone here has tried CERNOR. It claims to lighten dark eye-circles.

Well, I don't know about most of the ingredients, but I think that the Mica and the Titanium Dioxide are going to help with the apperance of the dark circles when the cream is on (by reflecting the light), but they will have no effect long term. I do not like that alcohol is one of the main ingredients though.

faith,

hi!

i didnt know that alcohol is one ingredient that i should be concerned about. i'm guessing it can dryout your skin, esp the eye area where the skin is really thin.

anyway, thanks for your insight!

I don't know if you have to be concerned about it, but I already have slightly dry skin and dehydration lines under my eyes, so it just would not be suitable for me.

I would pass on this one too. There is nothing in this formulation that would have any repairative effects on dark circles. All it will do is cover them up slightly...mica, titanium dioxide, barium sulfate. Sounds like it would give you white raccoon eyes! Laughing
Alcohol being the second ingredient is not good, unless it is really cetyl alcohol, in which case it is not drying - just a fatty acid that is used as an emollient thickener. But I'd still pass if it were me.....

Well, I already have dry skin around the eyes that I can't even wear concealers. I don't know what I'm doing wrong Sad

Anyway, I think I'll pass. I don't want to hurt my skin further.

Thanks for your replies!

Hello.
I'm using Cernor xo for a month and a half now. At the first week one of my friends noticed that my very deep dark circles around my eyes lightened a bit. I was very hopeful as they were there as the trade mark for my poor face for more than 17 years now.

The three weeks after that i was interested in doing aerobics, drinking alot of water, getting up early n sleeping a bit earlier;at 12p.m daily which is very early for my routine The dark circles became amazingly lighter n lighter again.

Then i returned to stay up late till 3&4 a.m, stop exercising n drink little water again as before for the last 2 weeks now.My dark circles became darker again despite the fact that i'm still applying Cernor xo twice aday.

Thus,my advice to u is to try n find out what is the problem behind ur dark circles. They are truly a result to something inside your body.

1. Drink lots of water.
2. Do sport and exercise.
3. sleep early n get up early.
4. Avoid, avoid, avoid constipation.
5. Eat lots of salad.
6. Avoid smoking n alcohols if do take them.

I hope my advice will help. Thank u 4 reading. Smile
