What does everyone use to apply this product? I just got some, but have a feeling my regular brushes are not going to work well. Thanks |

Hi! I have them in Kitten ( my albeit predicable favourite) and Diamond Lil...a lovely smokey brownish/grey and I just use foam ended eyeshadow applicators and they go on very smoothly without being at all "dusty" and no skipping.
What makes you say that about your brushes, out of curiosity?

Oooh, you're welcome! I don't see why your brush won't work though... the powder formula is quite pigment dense and doesn't flake away loosely when you use it. Still! I have no problem with plain old sponge foam applicators that you can get ( see if you can find latex ones, they are softer and nicer, less drag but not easy to find)in packets of 10, with these shadows. Good luck! |

It just kind of stuck to the brush It did come off when I applied it in my eyes, but it just didn't feel right. I will look for the some latex ones...now, I just have to learn how to read latex in kanji |

Huh... ok, well it would seem that it's perhaps because the formula of the powder actually IS quite dense and not all fly away that it sort of just coated the bristles! That's really interesting, I would never have thought it would make a difference but you can visualise how that could happen.
The good news is that it's that very clingy formula that makes it last nicely on your eyelids without fading away or creasing much!
lol... oh dear. I would have NO idea what symbol it would be!! Do you like it in Japan? I have a couple of customers there in my own business. One is originally from Israel but married a Japanese man, the other is Japanese.... lucky their English is pretty good or we'd been in trouble with orders! |

Woa! The Shadow Pots have the Kitten shade in them as well? Why was I not informed? I thought Kitten existed only in the powder formulation?
faith - normal brushes don't really work that well with the shadow pots. I have found that either a lip brush (or any brush designed for "wet" eye products) or simply my finger work very well. |

The shadow pots is a mousse-like cream eyeshadow. I use a small concealer brush for cream eyeshadows. |

I totally 2nd this recommendation. MAC 242 Concealer brush is great for this. Using your fingers is great if you are in a hurry. If you have a bit more time and you want more control, take a bit of the shadow out with your finger and put it on the back of your hand. Use your concealer brush to sort of work the color onto the bristles evenly and then either dab or "paint" the color onto your lid. This way you can control how thin or thick you want it and just layer on more color for more intensity. |

Ok! Something more to try. I think I am still not getting it quite right...I have to play around with these when I have more free time, but so far, I have just been getting very sheer coverage. |
