Should I What are the benefits Anyone tried LRP Active C
I have been asking SO many questions about LRP people are going to start thinking that I work for them
I am interested in LRP simply because it is readily available to me and seems to be priced cheaply (love to save money if I can) |

Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant which may repair collagen damage and mitigate the effect of free radicals which damage the skin.
(copied from MUA)
Unfortunately I can't use vit c on my skin
You can certainly give LRP active c a try. Heard some good things about it. Some people also make their own vit c serum. It is cheap but you do have to make a fresh batch very often etc. |

Vivier, Cellular Skin Rx and Skinceuticals C brands are all popular here as well. You might look into those as well. The thing to look for in a good C is l-ascorbic acid (not C esters etc. which are not as potent), no water in the formulation (or if there is water make sure the C is protected from contact with it by silicone encapsulation, etc.), packaged in a dark bottle and at least 10% concentration. L-ascorbic acid will oxidize quickly (become impotent) when exposed to air/water (oxygen)for a while. It will turn an amber/brown color when this happens. I prefer the Cellular Skin Rx brand because it is stable (will not oxidize quickly) and it is quite inexpensive.
Good luck in your search! |
