Leading on from another thread, is what toner you use that important? Should it be rinsed off before you apply serums etc?

Thank you ladies!

If you decide to use a toner, it is important to use one that works well with your skin. For example, if you has sensitive skin, you would be better off using something like rose water and witch hazel than you would be using something with SA, for acne prone skin. I would not rinse off the toner, just let it dry all the way.

Carekate's ACV toner in the DIY thread seems popular, and you can adjust the ingredients for your skin.

thank you Faith, I know you were good enough to advise me in another thread on this subject, just wondered what other people used too. Generally I don't bother!

I don't like toners. They usually dry out my skin or make it itchy! I recently started using the water spritz's and love them. I'm using the one from La Roche Possay. I use it between washing and vit C serum. I also use it to help set makeup or as a 'freshener'

I've got generally oily sensitive skin...

I don't use toners because they usually contain alcohol, etc... However, I am going to do Carekate's ACV toner soon. I read it in DIY
section, and like the idea of adding green tea, and some essential
oils that are beneficial to the skin.
