I was given a sample of the eye cream of MD Formulation by my daughter, and I noticed the change after a few days. So I had her order me the eye cream. It is real good and I'm real satisfied with the outcome. I've used so many eye creams before and MD Formulation's eye cream outweighs them all.

I have a sample of this product as well, I can't believe how much I got in a sample!

Is it meant to be used at night? Or during the day under makeup as well? I use BE minerals and the eye cream didn't sink in as well as I would have liked, it sort of left a film which my concealer didn't go over very well. And, well, it's that lovely orange colour so I was wondering if it's meant for night time only.

Does anyone know? Thanks!

Ive tried a sample of this over the past three days, used on my eyelids only and it actually stung abit, needless to say no pain no gain so I have perceviered. Am wondering if its where I waxed my eyebrows for the first and only time about 2 weeks ago..... If its not meant for eyelids,be grateful if someone would let me know Smile

By the way, my samples is a nice pretty lemon colour..

I had the same problem with stinging, but I never got over it. I tend to have sensitive eyes so that is something to think about if you have the same condition.

I never put eye cream on my eye lids or inner eye, just the brow bone and around and underneath. I always thought it was too sensitive an area for creams, etc. My eyes are sensitive too though, I can only wear a couple different types of mascara.

My eyes can take anything. Still using the sample on the upper eye lids and its still stinging (or is it burning, Im not sure). I am sure that already my eyes seem firmer and less crepey. Smile

Cindi - The skin on the eyelids is so thin already that I'm not so sure that exfoliating it every day is such a good idea.... That might be really overdoing it.

Don't meant to scare you m'dear but you are exfoliating them. MD Vit-a-plus has AHA in it (chemical exfoliator) meaning that you ARE in effect exfoliating your eyelids everyday. In fact it has 10% AHA (that's the stinging you feel) which is pretty high given that it's to be used around the eye area.

Thanks for that mabsy. But it is for eyes, so assume I only use it round the orbital bone then?

I'd follow the instructions closely on that one so just make sure you double check. That eye cream is great for spot treating millia but personally I could not use it regularly around the eye area - it's just too strong for me. I'd imagine this would be good for someone who has more mature skin and not-sensitive skin.

I guess situations like these emphasise just how precious and important these little samples are.

I didn't get instructions with the sample, hence my confusion.

http://www.essentialdayspa.com/md-formulations-vit-a-plu-p_1883.htm

"To use: Thoroughly cleanse face. Rinse and dry. Pat a small amount of cream gently under the eyes and out to the temples. Use morning and evening, alone or under makeup."

This answers my question. I su-wear, I looked at the EDS site for instructions before posting, not hard enough though because here they are. Doesn't say not to use on eyelid but it doesn't say you should/can either.

I was told by a PS to use my retin a both under my eyes and on my eyelids. I have used it under but as of yet have not put it on my eyelids.

I was really surprised when he said he did it himself.

Md Formulations Vit-A-Plus Eye Creme seems to be working on my boyfriend. And that is a pretty cool thing in my book...

He has a range of wrinkles, from DEEP to fine around his eyes. His skin is pretty thick, at least compared to mine. He tans VERY easily and his wrinkles are mostly due to sun exposure, but also from having smoked for years and years and years.

With my last order from EDS i bought this: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/md-formulations-mens-delu-p_3222.htm - it's a VERY good deal!

I know it's the mens line, but I checked the ingredients list and talked to MDFormulations customer service - turns out mens and womens line are the same...the bottles even have the exact same packaging, only difference seems to be the boxes and prices

Anyways, back on track...
I have noticed that the skin around his eyes look and feel softer and smoother since he started useing this about 2-3 weeks ago. And he has thanked me several times for the cream, he really likes it - says it's the best he's had, and he's had a few different things from Decleor...

just wanted to add that I've tried the cream a couple of times - of course - and didn't experience any burning or tingling. And LB hasn't said anything about any discomfort...apart from when he finally understood why I told him to be careful not to get it in his eyes...takes pain to make him listen Bad Grin

I'm glad you found your boyfriend an eye cream that he is getting good results with! Also, thanks for the tip about the men's kit products being the same - that kit is a good deal! I bought one of the starter kits (I think for problem skin) and it had a 10mL tube of this eye cream in there. I find that I can't use this daily or it dries out my skin but it is *so* very effective at treating millia! If I ever get any I just spot treat with this for a few days and all's back to normal.

I have the little pump bottle of this out of the sensitive skin kit (I only got the kit so as to try the eye cream). I dont have the hard millia, but more the "chicken skin" look Shock on the skin between the brow bone and the eye lid and the inner corner under my eye. I never found this to work all that well on the problem.

I did keep the eye cream in the drawer though (aside from the sunscreen, it was the only thing in the kit I came close to liking .. hated the lotion and especially the cream.. hubby used the cleanswer). Anyway, the chicken skin problem was exasperated with an Orlane sample I used recently and so I went back to this every night (but I do skip a night here and there). Will let you know if it works any better this time.

Hey Tiger... I don't think it is the same eyecream though, looking at the sensitive kit it's the Moisture Defense Antioxidant Eye Crème you've got...

What was it about the lotion you didn't like? Asking cause I got a larger sample of another of their moisturizers/serums (Antioxidant Hydrating Serum) and can't quite make up my mind what I think of it... hmm

They must have changed the kit.. mine had:

-cleanser (non-glycolic)
-lotion (I guess it was OK, but the texture was not for me)
-cream (hated the texture, after-film and also it reacted badly on my skin after 2 days.. blotchy and some red bumps). I tried it for 2 days twice and then binned it.
- sunscreen (this is not bad, keep it in the handbag for emergencies)
- Vit-A-Plus eye cream

My husband did not mind the lotion too much, but I think for the $$ there are plenty of other products out there that feel better and work just as well. I am very big on how a product feels - probably more important to me than how effective it is. Laughing
