Hi there all. I made my first order with essential day spa a couple of months ago, and got for the first time some Decleor Products. I really think they are amazing, the Decleor products gave my skin a feeling of relaxation and well being and at the same time didnt overhydrate it to feel heavy or to make black heads!! I hardly feel I am wearing a cream, and the Night Blams for the face are just something else, they are wonderful to use with lovely aromas, and I have seen such a difference on my skin appearance, it radiates. I recommend them to everybody!!! |

I agree. I got turned on to Decleor products about three years ago and have been pretty faithful ever since. They seem to work well for my skin type. On the rare occasion that I have tried something else, I've been left disappointed and have always come back to Decleor. |

I would put on the balms just for the experience!! They are incredible, and work fabulously to boot! |

I just can't get past the STRONG smell of the Decleor products I've tried. Too herbal or woodsy or something. Just not my cup of tea, I guess.

I too am sold on Decleor products. The night balms do miracle work. I am using the Rose D'orient at the moment and it is sublime. I don't have sensitive or reactive skin but had tried this when I received it as a sample. Before that the essential balm was my big favourite. |

I've just placed £152 order for decleor products..........they have an offer ........if you spend over £66 you can get one product from the list given - free....and if you spend over £133 then 2 products (from the list given) free........even though i experiment with other brands.........i always seem to come back to decleor............they don't bring me out in spots.....
I already have the essential balm and the decleor lip and eye mask.....
I am currently using the Janson and Beckett C&C Facial serum, Skinceuticals Phyto corrective gel, Janson & Beckett Spf 25.......and will be incorporating the decleor ylang ylang together with the hydro floral cream...Decleor harmonie essential cream.......actually, i used to order my decleor stuff from strawberrynet and qvc...........but i think you get a better value from EDS

I tried decleor, the entire range basically from a trial pack and purchases. WHilst they smelt nice, I got major breakouts!! My skin didnt cope at all with whatever they use, and my blackheads were worse, I got large red, almost blind pimples and since stopping the products (other than the bioretinol cream), my skin is WAY better. Although I liked the smell and the feel, I blew my money on this range that really was more for the smell and the treatment than the effects in my book... |

I guess I’m primarily a Decleor girl, too. These are the products I own and use regularly:
• Decleor Aromessence Lip Balm
• Decleor Cleansing Gel
• Decleor Cleansing Oil
• Decleor Essential Balm
• Decleor Ylang Ylang Balm
• Decleor Aromessence Ylang Ylang oil (although now I make my own)
• Decleor Hydra-matte Regulating Fluid
After Decleor, my second fave line is Yonka. I guess I just like the whole concept of using natural plant essences and essential oils...my face certainly loves it, anyway! |

No, they do not cause breakouts. However, because Decleor products contain lots of essential oils and plant essences, some people with extra sensitive skin may find themselves reactive to these products. If you are one of those people, I highly recommend performing a patch test on the skin inside your forearm, at the bend of your elbow (where the nurse sticks you to draw blood at the doctor's office) to determine if you are going to react to a specific Decleor product before you go slathering it all over your face. Better a tiny little rash inside your forearm, then a huge rash all over your face!! |

I unfortunately didn't like the smell of the Essential Balm. Is there another I could try for my normal-dry, congested t-zone skin |

I'm curious about Decleor Hydrotenseur. Does anyone have an opinion of it? |

No, Decleor products do not contain perfume, although that does NOT mean that Decleor products are fragrance-free! Any scent/s that you smell in Decleor products are a result of the plant essences and/or essential oils.

OMG, you’re kidding me!! I LOVE the smell of the EB, although not as much as the scent of the Ylang Ylang balm – with that one, I love to take the top off the jar and just sit there and b-r-e-a-t-h-e it in. Delicious! |

I love many of the Decleor products and we all have different skin types and can react differently to them. For me Yonka is my first choice as Decleor is much too potent and active for my sensitive skin. But for others it works wonderfully, just not for me. |

Maybe I was a little harsh with the decleor comments, but I was kinda annoyed that I wasted my money on it at the time. I have never really had sensitive skin - to products anyway - I use ahas every day now and my skin copes really well (and the best its been in ages.. )
I realised after talking to my sister that she has had issues with Decleor as well (genetic??) - she had to return the hydra-floral years ago because it flared up her skin (it stung on her-but her skin is sensitive). I never got a rash and my skin didnt sting - maybe I was just a little overzealous with the oils - but I got yucky breakouts (which I was specifically trying to avoid), and I stuck with it for a month and a half before getting really annoyed and buying something else. I had purchased my range from strawberrynet.com, and you cant return stuff there. You live and learn.
It does have a large and loyal following though it seems... |

Well this is why I love this forum as everyone's sharing their experiences and hopefully finding out what works for them in the end. As I said Decleor didn't really work for me either but for others it's their favorite and brings out the best in them you weren't harsh at all. I know the feeling when you dosh out and make the investment only to feel perhaps frusterated and disappointed in the end Happy healthy skin in the end is the goal! It's good we're aware of how our skin reacts though so many people aren't in tune and loose track. Glad you're finding something that's working for you. |

Exactly which Decleor items did you buy? Do you still have them or did you toss them in the trash? The reason I ask, is perhaps an EDS member (like me!) would be willing to take them off your hands for a nominal price. That’s actually how I got a bunch of Yonka products that I’ve since incorporated into my daily regime....
I just figured I’d mention this as a possibility, especially since we blithe Americans recently discovered that we are the only ones who enjoy “no fault” return policies for most products from retailers while if one of our fellow EDS members buys a dud, s/he is basically stuck with it.
I really wish we could set up some type of system where we could swap, trade, or simply give away products that didn’t work out for us to some other member who would love to adopt the item/s and give it a good home!
Maybe we could indicate whether or not we’re interested in swapping in our signature line, along with our skin type info, and then on one’s member profile page, we could list the products we’ve got available in the “Interests” section or something.... |

O/T: I’m getting a new kitten tomorrow afternoon that is half-Ragdoll (i.e.: long-haired Siamese) and I hope she grows up to look like Mitzi – although I think Opal is going to be a Seal-point rather than a Chocolate-point....Regardless, I can’t wait to bring my new little baby home!! |
