hiya all  just curious about trying the c+aha serum from skinceuticals,i currently use serum 15...has anyone used it and what were their results?also i thought they didnt recommend using vitamin c and aha together so why combined the two? |

Hi
Skinceuticals does have products that contain hydroxy acids for exfoliation. If I am not wrong, their Renew Overnight and Intense Line Defense contain hydroxy acids for skin smoothening and getting rid of wrinkles. However, I only use Vit C in the morning and use the Intense Line Defense at night. I think EDS recommended me to use Vit C in the morning to maximise its anti-oxidant effect. The exfoliation, I feel, is better left at night so as to minimise sun sensitivity. This is my own opinion, culled from reading the many websites about Vit C, especially Cellex-C's websites - which has similar products as Skinceuticals - they are more informative. BTW, I have ordered Vit C plus Vit E. I think this is a better combo for the Day. I will continue to use Intense line Defense at night. I will write a review on Intense Line Defense soon. Hope above information helps. |

thanks for the info..it was really helpful ,i do use a bha at night for exfoilation ,but wondered why skinceuticals combined the two together when even on their website they say to use vit c and exfoilation separatly..i was curious to try it, as it sounds pretty good to do two things at once  ..anyway thanks for ur help |

C + AHA serum increase photo sensitive.
My face was redness and become burn under sun shine (I live at asia).
Perhaps, it is too much exfoilation.
I don't like like it.
I like only Vit-C, it made my skin brighten. |

I'm using this sample product for a while. I think it's good one but the bad thing is it's oxidize very quickly. I like to use vit c seum seperate aha. |
