Hello,
I have been using Retin A for years, on and off to treat cystic adult acne with great sucess. But as my skin has aged, along with the rest of me, I find it can not tolerate Retin A with out extreme drying and flaking. The use of progesteron cream has helped with my dry skin. and I also am using a glycolic cleansing lotion which is not drying. The Flaking is something I have never exp. before, having oily skin. I also use Cellex C and the Hydrating serum.
I would like to switch over to emergen ester c, is there a difference between the two? One is higher in the amount of C, but other than that what is the dif?
And how shall I shift gears, now that my skin has crossed the 50 yard line?
Thanks
Magda

EmerginC products Contain L-ascorbic acid and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate. They are not esters of VitaminC. If you are looking for VitaminC ester, try Jan Marini VitaminC products.
EmerginC VitaminC serum contains 12% L-ascorbic acid compared to EmerginC Forte containing 20% L-ascorbic acid. Other ingredients are exactly the same in both of them.

it could be too irritating to use with fruit acid together. If i were to use it i would leave a gap of at least 3 days.
