Hi Myztic,
I use tend skin after waxing or epilating. I am very prone to ingrown hairs and using this products keeps the ingrowns and itchiness away. I don't use it directly after because it stings a bit, but later that day. |

I've used Tendskin in the past on my legs but I found it very drying and I didn't see any reduction in ingrowns  smells yuck too IMO! |

yes, I have used it in my bikini line when there is already an ingrown there. I don't know about "black dots" I don't have this problem.
You do have to use tend skin more than once for it to be effective. I use it everyday after I use my epilator. |

FYI - the active ingredient in TendSkin is salicyic (sp?) acid. It works by enzymatically sloughing off the top layer of skin so that the hairs can no longer curl back on themselves and not break the surface of your skin (that’s what an ingrown hair is).
There’s a recipe for homemade TendSkin in the “~~~ DIY Skincare Recipes ~~~” sticky thread....Warning: TendSkin can be VERY drying, so if you have problems with dry skin, make sure you slather on a good moisturizer after applying TendSkin to counteract the drying effects. |
