Alright...so the heat is starting to come around and im already noticing that "flushed" look once again on me...trying to limit what i put on my skin and i'm starting to be very skepticle on what i use and dont. We've all discussed sunscreens, and while some of you have skin that can tolerate sunscreen chemicals, im a wuss and stick with the physical blocks. I'm not a sun worshipper to say the least, as i even hide behind visers in my car and yes, dont laugh..i put a sheet up in my room to block out light. But my problem is im trying to find an SPF 30 sunblock that doesn't have any sort of AHA's in it..nothing that can be cruel to delicate skin. I am currently using skinceuticals 30...the ingredients dont seem to have any irritants, though i get a weird feeling on my skin maybe 10 minutes afterwards..i think its just the fact that its wet on my face and it needs to dry a bit, because after that my skin feels fine. Any suggestions? I'm afraid ive probably made a post similar to this before, though i may have forgotten

If at all possible, please try and check out the Obagi spf 35 Healthy Skin Protection. I only like physical blocks (at least so far, based on the stuff I've tried) and found the Skinceuticals to be too thick and sorta greasy for me. The Obagi sinks in very quickly and I don't get a white cast. I just wanted to throw it out because it's the first one I've ever used that has an spf as high as it is that hasn't broken me out, made me greasy, and feels moisturizing enough. It has no AHA in it and has Z-cote. You could probably find the ingredients fairly easily on the website I'd imagine. My dad has severe eczema and dermatitis and finds it gentle enough for his skin (and that it absorbed if he didn't glob it all over his face!) If I don't buy mine at a store, I'll order it fromwww.skinstore.com and get a discount since I have it listed as one of my favorites.

Maybe you could try a sample of it somewhere.

The thing is, physical sunblocks are not supposed to absorb into the skin. If you mean dry well into the skin thats good, but im willing to suffer from a white cast as long as i know i wont get rashes or anything from it. I did notice from the skinceuticals that i do get a few more pimples when using it, but thats probably because it has a lot of silicone in it...I will look into the Obagi, thank you very much for your advice!
