today is my day to post indeed... Last week i purchased a couple pairs of rather lovely sandals. One pair has a funky little clamp on each of the sandals that go over the tops of my feet. Well, I was trying to clean out from under my bed, should have taken them off, and after i took them off i had dime size bruises on each foot. They are starting to go away...but my boyfriend pointed out last week that he thought i got a tan, but really he just got a glimpse of some of the bruises i have on my legs that are beginning to heal (that yellow/greenish look). I always have bruised easy..and its embarrasing. I'd like to know if there is anything i could take that could prevent them from forming so easy, especially since its summer. I dont have a vitamin deficiency , so maybe im just doomed! |

purpleturtle - not that I want to scare you but have you actually told your doctor about this? I know that bruising easily can soemtimes be an indicator of various ilnesses (some of them very serious) and should not be left unexplored. I am sure that some people just bruise easily but I think it's important that you check this out anyway.
In terms of fading the bruises, vitamin K creams work well to heal them faster. |

ive considered going to a doctor, but i know my entire family bruises pretty bad as well. But what is good is that the bruises heal within a day or so (I would consider that really fast), which hopefully means im healthy Thanks for your concern..I shall pick up some vitamin K.. |

Arnica is supposed to be good for existing bruises.
"Eating plenty of oranges and other citrus fruits can boost your level of rutin, a bioflavonoid that was singled out by researchers in the 1950s as one that could help strengthen fragile capillaries and minimize the bruising that often accompanies this condition." from mothernature.com
My advice is to work on honing your spidey senses and stop bumping into things! |
