Hi wave. I would like to know which exfoliation (scrub) is good for the body, and is natural + gentle and that you also can use on your hands. So that you can remove dead skin and will get a fresh/clean skin. Maybe that we can use dermalogica daily microfoliant for the body also. I came on this idea, because I have heard that Jlo uses creme de la mer for her whole body and its actually for the face. So why not the microfoliant for the body also. But is this a good idea, or should I use something else? What do you guys use?

Also which (natural) bodycream/oil can you guys recommend me, one that is hydrating and is for all skintypes, and not clog the skin. I do not want a bodylotion, cause I have heard that the most part of it exists of water, and water dry the skin out, so a lotion is not effective. And I think this is true because when I use a bodylotion at first its shine, but after a few minutes my skin becomes dry again. so its not hydrating only shiny. And shiny is something else than hydrating I think. Because sometimes I see people who has hydrating skin ( like there is juice coming of) from inside out. So that is what I want too something hydrating/glow/fresh and not shiny that becomes dry again. Ok that was it (for now) hihi Wink

hi there,

I am a distributor for Epidermx and it can be used EVERYwhere! mostly people use on face but it is gentle/all natural and be used every/anywhere.

For a body oil that won't clog, Jojoba oil. I love it to remove my eye makeup/etc. Sometimes I use at night for a moisturizer and it also helps me when I break out to clear the clog. You can also buy a body oil at mmucosmetics.com Very Happy

If you want a good natural body scrub then you can buy (or make) a sugar scrub or a salt scrub with some essential oils in it. Lovely stuff!

For a very effective but not natural body scrub I would recommend MD Formulations Face and Body scrub. It has AHAs in it to help with exfoliation.

I like Neutrogena Body Oil (it's a sesame oil) Very Happy Use it either in the bath or directly on your skin. It absorbs really quick and doesn't make you feel all slimy just silky smooth Laughing Makes you look like you just came back from a vacation...all glowy
Neutrogena used to make a Rainbath Body Mist which had a great smell and you just sprayed it on, I think it has been discontinued however Crying or Very sad

Yo Mabsy Wink. About the AHAs, whats it for actually, and how often can you use a product with AHA in it? Now I thought that it is effective for acne, or am I wrong? And can you use this on your hands too? And which essential oil would you recommend me (jojoba, amandel, ylang ylang etc.), and how many drops should I use. How do you apply the own make scrub, with the hands or with something else? Ok I think this where my questions for now. Razz Smile

AHAs are for exfoliation but you can use them daily depending on the concentration and type of product. For example, there are some face serums with 10% AHA that can be used everyday. I don't recommend that you use the scrub everyday but two or three times a week would be fine on the body. There would be no problems with using it on the hands but you need to make sure you wear sunblock (as always).

I'm not sure about the recipies for the salt/sugar scrubs. Have a look at the DIY Skincare Recipies thread above - there might be some there that people have posted.

The Jojoba oil works well for me, I prefer oils to creams and love this one bacause I don't get left with a shiny film for the rest of the day.

I have the body spray version of white musk. It is a light musky smell. It brings out the hippie in me. It's nice
