I'm a new Bare Minerals user and after only a few short days, I must say I love the products. It took two applications to get the hang of it. I watched the video. Tried the tips suggested using the mineral veil to buff and the warmth to contour. I'm satisfied I'll never go back to liquids again. I've been a long time user of L'Oreal, Clinique and Revlon foundations and powders. Over the years my skin has become more difficult, dry and dull. In these later years I've turned to making my own skin care products, using essential oils and natural oils, waxes and butters. It has helped tremendously, yet there was still the issue of makeup. I never needed a lot, but it all looked so unreal. Too thick, Too dry, Too oily. Anything but natural.
I'm considering additional products. I have questions concerning which product to use as a light blush. I am fair, light hair and lean toward a warmer color palette. Would BE Clear Radiance do the trick, or should I go with BE Glee Blush? I'm leaning toward Cleear Radiance as less is usually better for me.

Radiance or the True. I live in New Orleans, LA. Purchased online on the Bare Minerals web site to start and may check out QVC and this site Essential Day Spa for additional products.
Strange thoughts, my sister and I were just discussing the feasibility of opening a Day Spa here. We're about 20 miles south of the city. She is a hairdresser and I make bath, body and massage products. I recently discovered this forum and it's full of knowledge about products I had no idea were out there. Great folks too.

I have clear radiance too, and it is a great colour. I fond it really adds a healthy glow, but sometimes I still want a blush colour. I just started using Sorbet, and I have to say it is a great colour. If you can sample it somehow, I would recommmend it. It is a really nice glowing pink colour that matches the actual rosey-ness of my cheeks before I put on foundation. It's my new fav!! Very Happy

Thanks, faith. Sorbet does look very delicate in the Winter 2005 catalog. I'm still looking for a local seller here. So far I can only purchase online. I've found 2 local day spas that advertise selling soon, but not soon enough. I wonder if I open my own place, how I could become a reseller? Something to look into??

The Clear Radiance is a nice product but it will not give you the same color a blush will. This is something that I can use all over my face to give it a glow - and particularly over the blush I'm wearing. I'd actually suggest that you get a proper blush if you are pale. I haven't used the BE blushes though (I'm a Jane Iredale girl Very Happy

) so I cannot recommend one as I am not familiar with the shades.

I love Clear Radiance too but I wouldn't call it a blush as such. It only imparts a hint of pink but gives you a wonderful glow. What is your colouring like Jen? BE have a great array of blushers, My favorites are thistle and Golden Gate.

I don't know what to suggest...there are many sellers on Ebay that do samples. Maybe you could email some and ask them if they do special orders?? I have found some sellers that will... Smile

Mabsy, yes it seems I'll need to choose a blush if I want the specific cheek color. Typically I wear Rose/Pinks shades, but toned down. Now I am using L'Oreal Cameo powder blush which is just about the closest shade to Glee.
Faith, that's a good suggestion to try E-Bay. I had not even thought of it yet. And I'd hate to pay shipping to return anything!!
Catnip, my coloring is fair to just slightly medium with reddish undertones. I burn very easliy and have red patches on my neck, arms and chest from autoimmune reavtive sensitivites. There are a few scattered freckles, sun and age spots. Overall, my face is dry except on the chin. And if I don't use a good cleansing and weekly exfoliation routine, my skin can appear dull and lifeless. I never use soap, although I make my own along with toner, exfoliants and body sprays. One must be very careful of handmade products and preservatives, therefore I do not make or sell lotions, creams, moisturizers, etc.

buying the Glee and the True. Glee for evening wear and mix the two for daytime. They'll probable last forever.

BUT if you have nice skin and want to glow/ shimmer.. its great. ALITTLE GOES ALONG WAY ! it might not look like it, but keep rolling that brush around and it blends in beautifully. LUVZ IT

luvz all my BE products.. carful with the rever upper

it has g acid in it.. sensitve skin might burn for a sec... and if your using any renova type products DO NOT USE REVER UPPER... Brick wall

I'm a recent convert to BE myself, and I just love the stuff.

If you want a really good idea of what various blush shades look like, go to www.beaddicts.com There are some fantastic close-up photos of blushers to give you a more accurate idea of shades.

I'm a cool-toned girl myself, so I lean toward pinky/mauve/violet shades, but I hear that Sorbet, Golden Gate, & Thistle are very nice natural warm tones. Have fun! Very Happy

it holds in the minerals better and you can use your powder better and longer.. if you dont have instructions...... here is a tip Shhh

make sure you DIP YOUR BRUSH, TAP ALL POWDER OFF THEN SWRIL IT IT THE CAP AND TAP AGAIN. REPEAT THE STEPS. Wink

if not you will look like a ghost. im having a hard time only using a little.. and i tell every one Rolling Eyes

Hi there! Do write up some reviews of your eyeshadow samples when you get them. (I'm dying to try some of the Pure Luxe stuff!!)

Like you, I feel like I'm a young teenager again just experimenting with make-up. Minerals are so much fun to mix and play with. My skin has also improved tremendously since starting on them. I was pretty jaded about cosmetics, but these boards have definitely gotten me excited. Sadly my wallet is suffering big-time. Sad
