I got a 75ml bottle of this ages ago in a set and have just finnished it. It claims to contain Ginger Extracts and smells so nice. The consistency is pefect not too runny and not too thick, I have loved using this on my legs, especially after shaving.
The only thing that disapoints is that The Sanctury claims its products are natural but when I read the ingredients I can still see stuff like Methylparaben and panthenol?????
If I come across this though I think I would use it again but I wouldn't actively go out and search for it. |

What's wrong with panthenol? It's the ester of panthothenic acid....it's just Vitamin B5. I can understand your worry about parabens, but it is currently the only full-spectrum preservative approved for cosmetic manufacturing by the FDA.
I know there is a study floating around on the web that states that trace amounts of parabens were found in cancerous breast tissue, but what they don't tell you, is that parabens were also found in non-cancerous breast tissue as well.
So the conclusion of that study really only stands alone. All it means is that the people who were biopsied had cancerous cells and also happened to use personal care products that contain parabens. But there was never a correlation between the two drawn or proven.
Anyway, a product can contain natural ingredients, and still not be all-natural. Depending on how it is labeled & advertised I guess it can be deceiveing. Also there are natural forms of parabens. It can be derived from seaweed and also Yucca root. |

Don't feel daft! You can go crazy trying to memorize what all these ingredients are! That's what is great about this board - you can never learn too much! |

I bought a 500ml tub of a body moisturiser from this brand and I love it. My one contains Camomile, Arnica Montana and Vitamin E. I find it much easier to rub in compared to Palmers, but it was more expensive. |

I got a body oil spray to test for the beauty bible. It was basically mineral oil anf perfume Very hard to apply and when it slipped out of my hand and knocked my relaxaline over (I know, I should have had the lid on!) that was the final straw, I ditched it. It didn't even moisturise well.
I think Sanctuary, like the body shop and Lush, just trade on this image of being either natural, handmade or top end, when in fact they are just ordinary products dressed up. The only thing I can say in defense of TBS, is that they do try to trade ethically for the tiny amounts of natural stuff they contain |
