Hi, I am new here and looking for HEEELLLPP! I am 37, so have lots of fine lines and wrinkles forming. I have been oily and acneic all my life and every pore in my face is clogged. I have some facial milia, also. by noon my face is an oil slick. I have had some peels and used a glycolic line that helped the clogged pores but made my face so dehydrated and irritated. I was going to try a few Yonka products from here to get some "balance", but thought I would ask all of you first what you would rec! Thanks so much/! Gina |

I am not sure if you are using products that are too strong for you or not. Know that when products are too astringent, the skin will compensate for moisture loss by flooding the skin with .... more oil.
I will recommend a few, more gentle, though effective Yonka products": Cleansing Gel, Lotion N-Oily Skin, Creme PG Impure/Oily Skin, Fruitelia for N-Oily Skin, Gommage 303, and Mask 103. Only use your masks once per week, when necessary. |

Thanks for the response. Do you think that Yonka is my best choice right now? Or another line?
Thanks!

Dead cells often cause more dehydration and clogged pores if not removed regularly with a very gentle exfoliator. What you probably need now is proper cleansing, gentle daily exfoliation and intense hydration (minus the oil). Since you're also acneic, you may wanna try Dermalogica.
Day
1. Cleanse with Essential Cleansing Solution
2. Spray on Multiactive Toner
3. Active Moist
4. Total Eye spf15
Night
1. Cleanse with Essential Cleansing Solution followed by Special Cleansing Gel
2. Daily Microfoliant (alternate days or thrice/wk)
3. Spray on Multiactive Toner
4. Skin Smoothing Cream
5. Intensive Eye Repair
I would go on this regime for a few wks and monitor the results. If you see improvement, you can later add some boosters, and mask. As for breakouts, you can try Dermalogica's Special Clearing Booster and Medicated Clearing Gel.
