I have been using this moisturizer as my night cream for the past 2 weeks, and really like it. I wake up with very soft skin.

The product is a thick cream/gel. I don't really notice a scent at all. It isn't greasy at all, and my skin just soaks it up. I still think it would be too heavy for daytime in the summer. But if you have dry skin, or dry patches, I highly recommend this moisturizer. Here's the product info:

An ultra-rich phytonutrient moisturizer designed to combat dry skin and reduce the signs of premature aging.

Smoothes appearance of dry lines and helps repair damaged skin.
Botanical extracts and vitamins help repair prematurely-aging skin.
Antioxidants help prevent daily damage caused by free radicals.
Strengthens skin’s lipid barrier to help prevent moisture loss.

Skin Types:
Dry / ultra-dry

Vitamin A helps smooth the appearance of fine lines.
Vitamins C and E and Ginkgo Biloba help prevent daily damage caused by free radicals.
Soothing Coneflower and Hydrocotyl, combined with botanical extracts of Grape Seed and Wild Yam, help repair prematurely aging skin, leaving it soft and supple.

I must say that I have been very pleased with the DERMALOGICA line.

Normal/Dry~slightly sensitive~usually clear~fine lines on forehead and neck~Age 36

I really love the Intensive; it's a year-round staple for my dry skin. However, in the summer months, I switch to the Skin Smoothing Cream, as it's a tad lighter.
