I was using my skinceuticals physical sunscreen yesterday before work...i believe the lid was left on then...i dont think there was any light exposed in the room, so im wondering if i can still use it with it actually working..or if its ruined. Maybe its a dumb question but i'd like someone to answer it.

purpleturtle - I don't think it would be ruined at all and I doubt that it has even been affected. Just my two cents...

I agree....I doubt any damage was done. As long as it wasn't in intense heat(even then, I think it would be OK). It was only one day, right?

No bigee... Wink

less than a full day...it was left open late in day and i found it at night...i keep thick drapes over my window..so it should be alright. no intense heat or anything...its a tiny hole and the sunscreen is inside so the chances would be its completely fine.

Kk1668,

Usually sunscreens have expiration dates on them. If you aren't sure on something...i'd probably refresh my sunscreen at least once a year (which if you use sunscreen every day, a tube shouldn't last a whole year...). I noticed with once purchased in the past at regular stores, i hardly ever see exp. dates...makes you wonder if they even work!

Thanks purpleturtle, I checked, there is no expiry date at all on it, that's why I wonder how long can a tube of sunblock last normally.
