I’m getting toward the bottom of my bottle of Decleor Cleansing Gel (for combo/oily skin), which has turned out to be my fave cleanser over Yonka Gel Nettoyant and the Decleor Regulating Gel Cleanser (both of which I received as “thank you” samples from my pal “Boston”), but I’m interested in exploring my other Decleor options.

While I was checking to see if I had posted a review of the DCG on MUA yet, I ran across the product reviews for something called Decleor “Gel Douche Exfoliant” and it sounded intriguing to me. I don’t remember seeing this product on the shelf at my local Sephora store and I haven’t ventured to their website to check if they have it online – hell, I haven’t even looked to see if EDS has it (would you believe I’ve managed to resist temptation to redeem my $50 gift voucher for the past three months!!) yet – because I wanted to give a shout out to see if anyone here has ever tried it and can give me the 4-1-1 (read: information) on the following questions:

• What’s the texture? How does it smell?

• How well, if at all, does it remove makeup? Would it work to use the Gel Douche Exfoliant to cleanse and remove makeup, then follow with the Dr. Hauschka/Holland Cleansing Cream?

• How effective is the exfoliating action? (i.e.: do you still have to use a separate enzymatic or gommage-type exfoliant regularly?)

And any other thoughts/comments about it that you might deem to be useful....

TIA,
Carrie

Nevermind! Embarassed From the way the MUA reviews were written, I thought this stuff was supposed to be used on the face, but I just found it on EDS on the Body Products Page so I’m guessing I shouldn’t get this stuff to use on my face afterall. Doh!!!
