Hi people, I was wondering if you can help me.
I live in Auckland New Zealand. Someone suggests me to try some pure shea butter because I have super sensitive skin. My question is how do you find pure shea butter in New Zealand? I found a lot of shea products but haven’t found any pure shea butter products in New Zealand.
Thanks a million |

Hi there
Im not from New Zealand but I *think* L'Occitane do shea butter products and that a couple are 100% shea butter.
I have no idea if you can access them in NZ but defintely do a search online and youll track it down.
I hope thats at least pointed you in the right direction with regards to which line might do the products your after.

hi jack
as you know, i'm in auckland..
I recommend a NZ company called Absolute Essentialwww.absoluteessential.com
They sell pure Shea Butter on there, just type 'shea' in search. I am not sure what the price is supposed to be.. it says $.340, I just emailed them to confirm the price. But it is probably $34.
There are also some cheaper options too from smaller NZ companies.
Clematis LTD (www.clematisltd.co.nz) is a good company based in West Akl... I have ordered from them several times. They sell 1KG of shea butter for $70.
Dolphin clinic -www.dolphinclinic.co.nz - also do body moisturisers, that have shea butter in it.
But also, you can just get a rich NATURAL body moisturiser from the local health shop. They are cheaper than pure shea butter and have a wider range of moisturising ingredients.
Make sure it is one with no preservatives and such... |

Wow, miranets and farouk, thank you so much.
Miranets,
I have called the company and the office lady said the price was incorrect(It was probably like 34 cents). However she needs to check the answer with her boss on Monday. Thanks a lot. I was wondering if you have tried pure shea butter?
I have heard that shea butter is super good for the skin, but just wondering if that’s still the case for the faces.
Miranets, thanks again for the information. |

Shea butter is quite rich.. so I don't use it on my skin at all..
I am not sure if it can cause blackheads or not.. but if you have dry sensitive skin you should try a mixed moisturiser first i think.. not pure shea butter..
I use shea butter based hand moisturiser.. and very good for softening effect.
Good luck with your search for a moisturisers |
