I just discovered this forum and I am so excited and overwhelmed since as I haven’t heard of most of the products listed here before. I am hoping all of you can give me some recommendation on good skin care products.

I am approaching 30. My skin type is normal / combination, dry on the cheek, and oily on T-zone. (Especially the pores in T-zone are quite visible) So I am looking for some good day / night moisturizers that can help to control the oil and minimize the pores…I saw a lot of different recommendations in this forum. But I found most of the products don’t have UV protection. Are there any good moisturizers with UV protection you would recommend? Or should I pick a sunscreen to go with such as Dermalogica? In that case, which sunscreen is better? (And should I use it under foundation?)

For eye cream, I am going to try the Murad-C SPF 15 because a lot of people recommend it. But the skin under my eyes is puffy, (eye bags). Is Murad good for dealing with puffiness?

Sorry for so many questions, as I am really overwhelmed by so many products! I’d appreciate your advice.

Thank you! Smile

In terms of the eye creams, I've got the Murad and also the DDF Protective eye cream and I definitely prefer the Murad. However, a few people have commented about the DDF deflating puffiness around the eye area so this could be something you might like to look into.

In terms of moisturisers with SPF that would be suitable for dry and oily skin - I think your best best would be to use a serum on the drier areas and then apply a lotion or a light cream to the rest of the face. Murad has some nice moisturisers with SPF. As far as lotions with SPF go, however, I think the best I have used so far has been Kosmea Moisturising Lotion SPF30+.

After a great deal of research on skin care, particularily on anti-aging skin rejuvenation, I put together an educational website to share that information. The techniques, strategies, and most of all, the clinically proven anti-aging ingredients to look for in skin care products are included in the e-knowledge modules of the SkinCareResourceCenter.com . I hope you find it helpful! Very Happy
