Just got some toner (from Avon), tried some last night, felt great (and this morning)...but apparently, once a day is enough.
However, my skin, is oily when it's warm/humid (no A/C in my room) so i thought, why not.
Also i have a mild case of rosacea, redness around face, except eyes (which sucks but hey)...so...my question is before going to bed, when is the best time to use toner?
Prior to, or after my nightly anti-bacterial cleanser (again, from Avon).
Thanks,
Jacob |

Hi Jacob,
A toner is always used after cleansing your face. You can use a toner twice a day. If you only want to use it once I think the best time is in the evening.
Which Avon toner are you using? I am curious of the ingredients in it. If it works well for your skin GREAT. Down the road if you are not totally please you can always make up your own toner. Carrie has a great receipt for Apple Cider Vinegar Toner. I have not used it yet but am planning on trying it because of the outstanding reviews.
Good luck Jacob.

i got the Avon "true PoreFection" (love the play on words)...light green bottle...seems great, then again, it's my first toner and 2nd time using it tonight...but ill keep you updated.
Thanks for the info, i thought it was before to clean up the oils and what not...but it makes sense now. =)
home made toner? h'mmm im interested
btw, toner felt great, just got outta my bath/shower, used the cleanser, then the toner...amazing how the toner really tightens up the pores...yes girls/ladies laugh away...but its my 2nd night using it...wish i got into this sooner lol. |

Im curious as to the ingredients of it too - mainly because I dont trust Avon (have no experience with this line just things ive heard).
Make sure it doesnt contain alcohol because this will strip your skin - which will give you that pore-tightening effect.
