| combo t-zone skin. Was it a overkill to order the ylang ylang oil, the essential balm, essential yy balm & the mattifying day cream. I hope I have the names correct. |

Actually, I don't think it was. The oil is to be used in the morning under moisturiser, which would be the mattifying day cream. The balm is supposed to be used at night. Given that the essential balm can only be used as a treatment for two weeks out of a month and you will thus be alternating the balms, I think you've done quite well  |

just to add, im using samples of the ylang ylang oil and balm and the hydra matt moisturizor (sp?)and will definately be buying the ylang ylang (both). i have just started to use the hydra mat as my skin is a bit shiny/urgh at the mo. i also have been using the gel cleanser from Decleor and will be buying once i have some ££.
(im waiting to win a voucher on eds, no luck as yet  , my wish list is getting longer!!!)
as mabsy says definately use the balm for 2 weeks, then have a break. also i only use 1 drop of the oil as 2-3 drops is too much for my skin (just sits there)and 1 drop is just enough.(but everybody is different)

| If you have oily skin, I suggest you follow Carekate's routine. I followed hers except I replaced ACV Toner to Decleor Matifying Lotion because I have no luck for ACV. |

this is her complete regimen:
AM:
• Wash/exfoliate with Decleor Cleansing Gel and a bit of Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant;
• Apply apple cider vinegar toner;
• Apply Vit-C serum, let absorb into skin for at least 3 minutes (the longer the better);
• Apply Decleor Ylang Ylang oil, let absorb into skin for at least 5 minutes;
• Apply Decleor Hydr-matt Regulating Fluid;
• Before putting on my makeup, I apply a very thin layer of Milk of Magnesia
(yes, the laxative!) which acts as a mattifier; then
• Sweep on a light layer of Jurlique Rose Silk Dust then apply my Jane Iredale Pressed
Powder foundation and the rest of my makeup.
PM:
• Remove makeup with Decleor Cleansing Gel or Yonka Nettoyant Gel; then
• Clean face with “Dr. Holland Cleansing Cream” (homemade version of Dr. Hauschka Cleansing
Creme), then
• Apply ACV toner, then
• Apply tiny amount of Decleor Ylang Ylang balm. |
