The best order to apply your products:
Prep
C Serum
AlphaDerma CE
Relaxaline where needed
Acne Treatment
Use JB products very sparingly as a little goes a long way. Some people have reported that AlphaDerma has helped their acne. Hope you will find that to be true in your case. I would love for you to use just the first three in the list for a week and see what happens. You know your skin better than anyone else so do what you think is best.

Winnie, I just received the "Anti-Aging on the Go" kit which includes Organic Cleansing Milk, Facial Skin Prep, AlphaDerma CE, OkuSil and the SPF 25 Sunscreen. I have been using the recipes for CareKate’s ACV toner, her Vitamin C serum, and her Ylang Ylang mixture (like the Decleor product), followed by Retin-A Micro. I have very oily skin (makeup applied at 6:30, skin looks oily by 8:00 ) that occasionally breaks out. I've seen big improvement in my skin texture and some improvement in my "oilies" since using the above regimen, but want to combat fine lines before they become too deep. Can you help me determine the best regimen for me to follow? Thanks! |

How do you like CareKates ACV toner? I just gave my daughter the formula.
Where you are using Retin-A I suggest that you call Janson Beckett and speak to one of their skin care professionals. I don't think there would be a problem at all using AlphaDerma and Mineral Prep with Retin-A. I am not a facialist and would prefer you getting instructions right from JB. Their email address is on their website as well as their phone number. They also have live chat now.

Thanks, Winnie. I had pm'd Ian a couple of weeks ago but suspect that he may be out of the office. I'll contact JB directly.
I love CareKate's ACV toner. My skin has improved dramatically since using it. It combined with her formula for the "Decleor" ylang ylang is making it less oily, my pores are getting smaller (or disappearing), the texture is better and my episodes of breakouts are much less frequent and severe. I'm 52 and a friend who has known me for 25 years just told me for the first time in our friendship that I have pretty skin. You and others have said so many good things about ADCE that I'm hoping adding the JB products will help tame or eliminate the wrinkles and neck "rings" I have while they're still negligible.
I also love these forums. What a great group of people! |

It is probably best to contact the office directly. Ian is so busy now he probably doesn't get to visit the forum very often. Do let me know what they say concerning Retin A. |

Me! Me! I have been using the complete line (alternating with other cleansers though), and my acne has improved a lot. I have recently thrown in some topical antibiotic and Retin-A to speed things along, but the ADCE has not broken me out at all, which still amazes me. This is the only anti-aging product that I have ever used that hasn't broken me out.
In terms of Retin-A, I use mine every other night like this:
cleanse
Prep, Okusil, and ADCE under eyes and on brow bone area
wait a half an hour
Retin-A on the rest of my face
I prefer not to use anything over the Retin-A. I have read that it is best to just use it alone so nothing interferes with its action.
P.S. Winnie, I love the JB C serum! Thanks again for helping me to get it
